I am in a rush today as I have my IT guy coming to try and fix whatever is wrong with my main machine; I'm shattered because my monitor / TV handset decided to go into a weird flashing light mode at 3 a.m which took me an hour to fix...
I'm going to try and fit in another hour of sleep

I managed to get the 0840 and a coffee - thanks to the girl in front of me in Pret who I pushed out the way who noticed my frantic watch checking and let me jump the queue. Thank you kind lady. In theory I can get in the office 1 min before my meeting starts. What could go wrong!

Good morning!
Weekend-wise I blasted some demons in SMTV 5. Its actually quite hard and I got destroyed and lost about 15 minutes of progress when I tried to persuade a demon to join my jaunty travelling circus. Playing on more cautiously, its a hard nut to crack.
Also managed to beat the rampage I was stuck on in monster hunter, and smashed in a Magnamalo. Magnamallow looks tremendous on ye OLDE switch. I'm now hunter rank 3. Top banana.

This week is Subaru week. Yes, the week that the not very green machine has it's trousers pulled down by a man wearing overalls. This is, of course, if it a) Starts and b) Doesn't lose it's brakes as I limp it around to the Garage.
Wallet prediction? Pain.
Then, there is the issue of the driver's window, but, meh, I'll have to put up with that for the moment.

Blade Runner 2049 is better than the original. I like a contrarian opinion as much as the next guy, but this one has always baffled me. Almost as bad as those people who think Terminator 2 is better than Terminator. Die Hard 2 being better than Die Hard, now that's a terrible take I could get behind. |

I liked Blade Runner 2049, but despite only watching it about a year ago I hardly remember any of it. I need to watch it again.
I liked Dune a lot, but need to see it again before I pass my final judgment.
Original Blade Runner is best.

So I let him get back to reversing the 8th w11 upgrade to w10 in a week. And so far this morning another 5 to do. The amazing thing is that most of these are SME's who neither have back up routines nor a fallback system, so when M$ fucks it up their business is wrecked. |
