An unusual but powerful breakfast. I want to try it. I have tinned mackerel in and several lime pickle options too. Maybe tomorrow.. I think lime pickle is possibly addictive. I have it with fried eggs on toast, toasted cheese and in cheese sandwiches. This is making my mouth water and my stomach heave at the same time. Fascinating. |

Lime Pickle: None eaten yet today. I also have two jars of chili pickle, for those times when lime pickle is too shy and retiring.

hi Are you ok? Are we ok? ... I'm ok ... Barely. No I am ok. I just didn't sleep so well. We have this neighbour - or at least a person who enters the communal area behind our back garden and plays pumping music between 5 and 5.30 am. It happened once and I thought it was an anomaly, but it happened again last night, or this morning. The thing is - this one piece of music they play - it's good! Pumping, but good. Part of me wants to go outside and 'Shazam' it. Another other part of me wants to burst out and say 'Oi oi oi, what's all this?'
In the end I just lie there reflecting on options, half enjoying the music, but begrudging it also. GamesYes ... PUBG (Casual mode) and Fortnite. That is all .... |

I am assuming the music is some terrible Shamen 1990s remix. It cant be the KLF as it is at 5am, not 3 am.

The music is of a unique genre.
It is definitely in the 'techno' wheelhouse.
The person playing it the other night liked it so much they roared at one point. They didn't roar last night ...
To be honest, last night it sounded like they had moved into one of the other flats, though maybe they were just on a different bench ...

Morning all, More AC Valhalla...doing lots of sidequests and now very overpowered for the main missions. Doing raids on monasteries feels wrong somehow. Man up, wet pants. Get raiding all those antiquities. I need to get back on it some more, I’ve ignored the side quests, and am a bit below the suggested power level for the next story bit. I do enjoy the 'don't kill any innocents on a Viking raid' message. Keeps the immersion. |

No games, just batch cooking lunches and roast lamb for the preferred mammal.
Not sure why was awake at that time, no noise or things.

I realise it's a bit odd that I disappeared for three months.
I didn't want to get in a fight with Chumbles.
But I was annoyed so I stopped posting for a few days. Then days went into weeks and weeks went into ... a whole financial quarter. Well just a quarter. Three months ...
I just thought I'd address it. I just thought I'd hold my palms up.

I don't think I learned anything while I was away.
I went to a haunted knoll: Chanctonbury Ring on the South Downs. Was it haunted? Who can say?
I did see a woman sitting on a log, in the knoll. Then when we got closer to the log she had gone! There was no woman there at all.
I'm taking it as a semi-haunting experience ...
I also went to Greece. It was nice.
I got a big roly-poly tum, and a beard like Gerry Adams.
Things have come to a pretty pass.
