More importantly how's your gate It's fixed! Looks good. So far it's been extremely resilient. It was more replaced than fixed. It looks good. If it hadn't been replaced there would be nothing to separate the back garden from the communal area and the chaos of the 5am music player. He would have the freedom to stroll in on a whim. I shudder to think of it ...

I've just had a quote for a new back door. 1200 quid! Seems a lot. I was expecting it would be maybe 700. Maybe I am one of those people who knows the value of nothing, and also the cost of nothing.

I've got to sort out this beard. I considered trimming the chin and cheek areas to a shorter length than the upper lip area. Is that a bad business? It looked quite good, but ... I felt I was dabbling in the same waters as Dave Myers from The Hairy Bikers ....

Backdoor backdoor boasting is the worst kind of backdoor boasting.

I can replace it with Lazy's back gate if you'd prefer. What you save on the door you'll pay on transport costs though.

Does seem on the pricey side, does it at least include labour and delivery costs? The alternative is to go to Wickes or BnQ and get a decent front door for £500 to £800.

Yes that's for everything, including installation and adding a cat flap (for the cats to use). I don't think I want a front door on the back of my house. That kind of wilful wackiness doesn't go down well in this neighbourhood.

along with ingredients your grandmother would recognise, beetroot, chickpeas, coconut fatI think both of my grandmothers knew of Beetroot. No guarantees though. Neither of them would have recognised chickpeas or coconut fat as a foodstuff.

One of my grandmothers was an amazing cook. There was nothing she didn't know about overboiling vegetables. Also she made pastry without enough milk/margarine/eggs* in.
The other one was ok at cooking.
* depending on the type of deeply disappointing pastry you wanted. Se did not use butter in cooking either. Always marge.

I've sent a PowerPoint to be displayed on TV's in libraries. It's full of sweet content that is relevant across the network. I left space for branches to add their own stuff at the end. I placemarked a slide with the text "local content for local people"
I'm now very glad I didn't add Papa lazarou or whatever he's called as someone has left the slide in on display. The utter simpleton.
Me I mean.

Hello. Last night I discovered that my copy of Shin Megami Tensei V had been delivered through my letterbox. This was a welcome surprise as on the shop website my order is still "processing". Finally my very own Japanese sex game. Before I actually received the game I discovered that Atlus was giving away Nahobino plushies, but only in the US, the sh*ts. So now this meme is making the rounds: Marketable indeed. This better be available on the new Shop Atlus or there will be riots. Want. Last night I also finally downloaded the Animal Crossing extension. There's too much stuff going on in that game now. Steak & kidney pie and mushy peas for dinner, washed down with a pint of Bishops Finger.

I quite like Dave Myers from the Hairy Bikers. He is quite droll, which offsets the obvious issues with his twirly moustache and his annoying big Geordie pal.
