Just had a chat with the Garage. They gave me a load of bullshit. Said the noise was coming from the front of the car. NO IT IS NOT. Also said they were going out for a second test drive with 3 mechanics in the car* to determine the source of the noise. JUST FUCKING WELL TAKE THE REAR DRUM OFF AND HAVE A LOOK YOU ARSEHOLES.
'We'll get back to you on Tuesday.'
*Off to McDonalds, no doubt. Cunts.

I just fell asleep in a branch of Caffe Nero.
A bad business.
I also got invited for a COVID-19 booster jab. That happened before I fell asleep.
Now I am awake.
I’ve got nothing …

I'm sitting on a very comfy sofa at Edgbaston Cricket Ground after my booster jab and am waiting for my taxi.

Co-op mature cheddar seems incredibly inconsistent in melting. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it just goes a bit soft and then browns in a slightly disturbing way. Like it's actually made out of plastic, not cheese. It seems to vary from packet to packet. It's at the creamier end of the scale, but Co-op organic extra-mature Cheddar is a nicer cheese, and cooks in a consistent way. This is good cheese-knowledge. I’ll bare that in mind next time.

I think Cathedral City’s pretty good for melting.
It’s perfectly positioned between rubbery commercial and flavoursome.

That's it, I'm going round to the Garage to see if the car has physically been moved.
There may be scenes.

Have you gone to a main dealer? They will treat you like shit and make you pay through the nose for the privilege.

The people who say swop instead of swap are probably exactly the same deviants who say 'pum-iss' instead of pumice. A dangerous demographic.

9/15 - The answers I didn't know were not a surprise. But the reason I delegated to my vice* captain questions I was havering between my first, instinctive, response and the answer I was second guessing myself into, was because I always got it wrong ... * "vice" in the sense of deputy; she watched ALL the soap operas, old films, schlock tv whilst placidly sewing curtains, making clothes etc. She would have made a brilliant captain, but was very shy, and misogynistic qms and opposition captains could upset her very quickly. It sounds meh, but she was genuinely selfless and nice. We never won the league (unlike my previous team), but it was such a relief to play in a side who played to win, but equally played for a laugh. The previous, winning team never played without bitching, petty rows and sarcastic comments about the opposition, fellow players that it became more and more a nasty little ego trip. Dear lord, how I drivel Time to amuse myself ...

7/15. I've been distracted today.
Oh yeah, the car has moved. Why won't the garage do what I asked? It's costing me money for them to fuck about with it. Idiots. I'm going down there on Monday to duff them all up.
