One of my friends has Covid and is stuck in bed with it. Kid 2 also has a bad cough this morning.
Raining.
Gaming night went badly.

Good luck in the North, forecast is awful; if you have summat to do, this morning looks best...
A little AoW3, mostly chores. Now preparing for a visit from Nursey...
BoJo's latest wheeze, to break the Geneva Convention on Refugees, seems designed to fuck up Pretty Patty's Sunday trip to France. For a second I thought he was serious about saving migrants' lives. I should have known better; the man simply cannot speak without lying or recanting.

For being for cooperation and preventing this happening again it seems a bad plan to get uninvited from the meeting, guess we can still sink the boys next to France like we wanted all along. A little Paris Vikings and finished main story there, now collecting endless items. Interesting tale but don't think it was as good as Ireland, would pay full price for it.

Morning all. So tired. So weary. Thankfully I’m still working from home, though I do have to shoot out around ten-ish to get my booster. Gamesblog: nope. TVblog: Seinfeld. And then Yes Minister. The latter can sometimes seem like a documentary, particularly when discussing Europe (from 1:40 onwards): youtu.be/ZVYqB0uTKlEDinnerblog: Okonomiyaki. Filled with cabbage, carrot, ginger and onion, and topped with bacon and BBQ sauce. Yummers! First one I’ve made since we moved from Worthing, so roughly eight years… and it was rather good.

Morning
The not-son has gone back to his family. Seems my offer of reheating the leftover curry has tipped the balance. PM had also started drawing up a list of DIY chores I've been neglecting, in case he wanted to extend his stay over the weekend.
OTTM - trying to retrieve one of my slippers from the puppy has given my back a twinge, so i'm moving in a mysterious way and hoping not to go full rictus.

Who knew gong was that old? Putting his back out fighting a puppy for slippers? Terrible way to go.
Games? No Tv? Sopranos, and a bit of Cowboy Bebop. I have no idea what’s going on, but it looks fantastic.
Shopto have a very good PS+ Black Friday deal going on. £29.95 for 12 months. Don’t know if they’re doing similar for Xbox.

Morning black Friday chumps. Anyone know the best way to break a TV without pouring a glass of water down the back and causing electrocution for the next person switching it on?
I'm just curious. Not for me you understand.
Hello. TV, last episode of the Morning Show. Meh.
Games. Setting up a mission in GTA as could be arsed setting up the laptop.

Or is Scotland keeping up with technology?

Good morning
How are you? You can tell me. How are the limbs? How is the torso? How is the spirit?
Are you looking forward to the weekend? Much nice planned?
Let's talk.

Anyone know the best way to break a TV without pouring a glass of water down the back and causing electrocution for the next person switching it on? Pouring a sweet fizzy drink down it, water evaporates leaves nowt behind, whereas the sugars in the drink... but just as well that the Black Friday sales are on. You know you want to ...

I watched Fargo last night - the series. I watched the first two episodes. So far, I like it. I then played No Man's Sky. I pulled out my PSVR headset, tugged about some cables, thought I could smell burning, then eventually played the game. It's the same as it ever was. I might play Elite Dangerous tonight ... Does anyone know of a good PS4 multiplayer adventure / RPG game? One in which you and three other lads can team up and go on adventure? I'm considering Final Fantasy XIV Online*. I just want an adventure.
* Was putting proper nouns in bold a Chatterbox 1.0 convention? I have a feeling it was. I might go with it ...

I watched more Hellbound last night after some swift negotiations. I'm liking it, might be too scary for Crank, though.
Weather: Appalling, glad I did everything yesterday.
Not much else to say.

Limbs are fine, though how my left arm will be later is another matter. Someone just jabbed me with the Pfizer. I felt much better after the Pfizer jab, compared to the Astra Zeneca one. Maybe a bit of soreness in the left arm for an hour or so. Otherwise my health felt rude.

What's your pleasure Mr Tiddles?
Does Hellbound have anything to do with the Hellraiser concept?
I watched Hellraiser 2 the other day. It was called Hellbound. Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 ...

Is it disinvited or uninvited?

Post by lazybones on Nov 26, 2021 12:08:35 GMT
Is it disinvited or uninvited? Disinvited is actively not inviting. Like 'I'm inviting him and I'm inviting him, but I'm disinviting him'. Uninviting is like revoking the invitation. Like 'I've invited him, but now I'm uninviting him'. Whoever he is. Him. Or her...

I'm playing FH5 right now.
Stay sage.

To disinvite is to withdraw or cancel an invitation. If you have not been invited in the first place you are uninvited.
