Is it just me and my shonky eyesight, but...
a)In the header pic, does Scamander have 2 left legs?
b)If Chumbles' Curiosity pic was really taken on Mars, why can I see a clear reflection of B.A. Baracus in the camera lens?

To disinvite is to withdraw or cancel an invitation. If you have not been invited in the first place you are uninvited. This is what I initially thought, but if you are not invited in the first place, you are just that, not invited, not uninvited. To un something it has to be done in the first place. We untie shoe laces, we undo the mishaps of others etc... |

Instead the participle 'uninvited' in its adjectival use has come to denote "not invited in the first place" rather than "having an invitation revoked", as in "an uninvited guest". I told you English was hard and made no sense. |

Morning!
Our neighbours gifted us a box of mixed Ferrero Rocher. One of the varieties was a new (to me) coconut flavour. Game changer.
Played more FIFA career mode. You can learn all sorts in the training drills. I can now do a feint shot to sit the keeper down before I jink round him and tap it into an empty net (in theory anyway).
OTTM, time to batten down the hatches. Strong winds and possible snow forecast for tonight/tomorrow.

Christmas is going to get cancelled again isn't it? I watched a YouTube video earlier where Byline TV vox-popped folk on the London Underground who weren't wearing masks. They asked them why and they all said because those in charge weren't so why should they. What a bag of shite. You're not wearing a mask as BJ etc isn't in the house of commons or at the theatre or whatever? I really wished they'd called them out on it. The real reason is you're all bawbags. Simples. |
