I have downloaded the latest Life Is Strange to play with Rolling Jr over the festive season. I also hope to get back to Valhalla and hopefully finish it by the end of the year.

Absolute scenes in PUBG. My brother managed to get knocked by a bot in a punch-up then I came in all guns blazing and killed said bot whilst also killing my brother with friendly fire.
He wasn't happy.

I'm still getting distracted but I've finally managed to "go to work" in Animal Crossing, i.e. touched the Happy Home Paradise DLC. Oh man, that is a rabbit hole with the gravitational field of a neutron star. While the main game sends you to bed at a mildly reasonable time, with this you can tinker until the sun comes up. Frightening.
Btw, last night's gaming stream was Yakuza: Like a Dragon; not from the beginning but actually pretty close to the end, just to show off the turn based battle system. My friend Andrew loves the Yakuza games, and I can certainly see why; if my backlog wasn't as bad as it is and I had a PS5 I'd be all over it, too. The tonal whiplash is extraordinary, from eyes being gouged out with blood splatter everywhere to silly costumes and comedy moves in no time, but that's part of the charm.
Dinner: Chicken katsu curry with rice
