They need to sort something out with women's football.
Northern Ireland won 9-0 ROI won 11-0 England won 20-0
Switzerland scored 7, Austria and Spain got 8 each, Norway scored 10 today.
That's just this week. It doesn't include the weekend games where there were a load more thrashings
I don't think having such uncompetitive games is worth it.

You used to get scores a bit like that in men's international football more often. Presumably professionalisation will gradually narrow the gaps between countries with well established women's teams and those without. Though I guess the fact that a lot of the goalies are not tall while the goals are the same size will mean more goals in general.

There should be pre-qualifying to cut down the number of mis-matches.

The San Marino win recently is the only time England men's team have scored ten in a WC or EC qualifier. The men's record in is 13-0 back in the 1880s. Women's football has a bigger competitive problem than men's football has had for over 100 years. I do not know what the solution is. But if they want larger viewing figures and crowds the games need to be mostly genuinely competitive, and not to see how many England players can score hat-tricks in one game.

I think a lot of the protests are far too peaceful. Hancock, Johnson etc are constantly taking the piss and laughing at the general population while they shaft the vulnerable. Patel cant even bullshit and keep a straight face, the constant smirking by them all deserves a more robust response to break through their invulnerability. There are no consequences for that lot at all, they do what they like and will lock you up if you complain too loudly. Lunch Baguette, brie & salad. All of this (including the lunch).

Also how did they drop the fancy new plane of the end of our all singing all dancing aircraft carrier? It’s often said that the deck of an aircraft carrier is organised chaos. The current theory is that an intake cover was ingested by the lift-fan. This is crucial to give the aircraft enough lift when leaving the deck - if it’s clogged up or malfunctioning, the plane will simply drop off the end of the ski ramp. It is quite possibly human error - either the pilot not completing ground-checks of the aircraft correctly, or deck crew not securing intake covers in the proper manner. With the noise of a 30 knot wind over the deck as well as the sound of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, it can be sensory overload on-deck. Hence organised chaos. I’m just glad the pilot got out okay. There was a comment I read on Twitter where someone’s C/O used to fly Sea Hawks off HMS Eagle. Said pilot had ditched three times due to engine issues with that particular aeroplane. And twice, the plane went under the carrier…

I love goals. More and more and more and more. I bet you’d be there at the front, yelling “come on and do another goal!” through a hand placed at your mouth as a make-shift megaphone.

The weather here has been appalling. Enough to make you scoff all the chocolate from your advent calendar in one fell swoop. Then you need another one. That's probably what's going on with Baby's two calendars.
Last night I bought some cheap-ish games. I got Murder by Numbers (liked it a lot when it was played on stream); Subnautica (same); Ori and the Will of the Wisps; the Gunman Clive HD Collection; and CrisTales. Those are all the good games.
Then I also bought Peaky Blinders: Mastermind and Gleamlight, just because they were cheap. Peaky Blinders is apparently not too bad, but by all accounts Gleamlight is atrocious, which goes to explain why it was so cheap. It was left on my wishlist after an Indie presentation and I made the mistake of not looking at reviews beforehand. Oh well. Caveat emptor.

What if they run out of fuel?

What if they run out of fuel? Are they electric? Or have we gone back to diesel? What is the range on one like compared to an ID3?

In what I'm told is a highly anticipated event, Spotify has just told me what music I listened to this year. Which seems a bit weird, as it's something I already knew.

The suits. What is the diesel runs out? The American ships can wage war 20 years after the rest of the planet’s been turned to nuclear dust.

Amipal's attempt to explain an absolute berk driving a plane slowly off an aircraft carrier is almost as funny as the footage of the absolute berk driving a plane slowly off an aircraft carrier.
