TLDR: Skyrim's combat sucks. Sometimes I find myself pressing the button for VATS, which would make things a hell of a lot easier. But stealth crossbow eliminates a lot of problems before it ever gets to that stage. Do you play first or third person view? Most of the time I'm in 1st person because then I can actually see what I'm doing. That causes the problem of losing sight of enemies which can be rectified by switching to 3rd, but then I can't aim properly. I haven't got a crossbow yet, and my position at the bottom of the stairs meant that I always got detected and cornered when starting off with stealth archery. I also had trouble with situations where a whole bunch of thugs are piling in on me after the conclusion of a dialogue. Enemy lock-on is a popular mod for a reason, wish Bethesda had done something about that, it's not as if they haven't had enough time... |

Good afternoon fuckoes.
I'm in digs for a few nights as I'm working away in Builth Wells for the week. As a result I'm all about PC gaming at this moment in time. Last night I played a bit of the following - Into the Breach (good but didn't hold my attention, can see it being a dipper), Sudden Strike 4 (arse handed to me), Hegemony 3 (didn't have a clue what was going on) and Ultimate General: Civil War (excellent in all the ways).
It was quite the evening.

Ive been playing the division you shit. Enjoying it so far, I can see it as a grower- not sure it's going to consume me though. It's basically Tom Clancy does Uncharted (in terms of playing mechanics) which is no bad thing. Speaking of which, I googled who Tom Clancy was, turns out he's a dead author who wrote some trashy novels once. Does anyone care his name's on a game? I reckon it's time Ubisoft sacked him off. I mean, you don't see Colin McRae rally anymore do you? (NB- I haven't checked if they are still making CM rally games, because life is too short. And I've already spent about 2 minutes writing this shit) |

The throat is holding up surprisingly well today. I will still try and see the GP at some point though as it could be Strep. Plus if I have tonsillitis the baby may have it. |

One of our suppliers hosted a 'Breakfast' meeting for 2 hours this morning. This was just the same as any other meeting, only with trays of cold bacon butties, sausage baps, and assorted pastries. I waded in, possibly a little too vigorously and now feel completely breaded-out, and well on the way to full-on nausea. Huzzah!
I noted they left several bottles of apple juice, so may do a driveby and swipe a couple. This may or may not end well

The CM games were re-named Dirt around 2011. Edit - just realised Colin died in crash in 2007 and one Dirt game was called Colin McRae Dirt in 2013. Well there you go! I think changing it to "Dirt" is a bit harsh given how little time he'd been in the ground for but still. 2013 is also far too late to be profiteering on his death, should have released that in 2007 £££. Basic business sense. |
