amipal 's latest acquisition ... (Perhaps not: Leyat Hélica, a French automobile produced between 1919 & 1925.)

A perfect score for England in the snooker! It certainly was a load of balls. edit: it started with Burns playing across the line...

In bed. Listening to the rain batter the windows. Should have got up 25 mins ago. In the office today. Pah.

I’m in the office today too.
We’ve been told that we only have to do one day a week now. Today was not going to be my day, but there’s a chance I will have to meet a student: Scuttle over to him like a beetle man, and ask him to outline his administrative issues.

I think i lasted until it was 16 for 3 before deciding I’ve seen enough from this tour.

Might go to office tomorrow. 2 positive pcr tests this week already, but they still ‘expect’ us in 2 days each week.
It will be my first time in for 3 weeks cos I’m a rebel.

Hello, Due to last nights bad wind (lol etc) I did not put the bin out. I then woke up at 3:30am questioning my decision. I should probably get up and put it out now.
No games

Morning all,
There's a slight danger to the whole Ashes malarkey, when one side becomes overly dominant the TV bods get a bit worried.
Happened with the the Bledisloe Cup (played between New Zealand and Australia). NZ was consistently drubbing the Aussies and people were turning off in droves, then the sponsors started leaving.
Australia need this to be competitive, do they have a reserve cpunty side we can play?
Gaming. Ass Vikings, completed Jorvik and the Asgard/Midgard story arcs. Still way too overpowered.

On the trains. Silent Movie by Quiet Village soundtracking my journey.
Supposed to be on a zoom user group thing today. Also, I'm shooting a video this afternoon - some staff giving a Merry Xmas/Happy New Year message in Makaton for our Autism group. I'm wearing my Cecil B. DeMille jodpurs.

I feel vindicated in my decision to not put the recycling bin out until this morning. The contents of no. 17's bin are fully on display. They get through a lot of KFC

They get through a lot of KFC I guess the recycling would be too heavy to blow over or away? Some vikings finishing the Essex bit, must try fishing at some point to see if it inspires more Skyrim.

Look at this poster that’s been up around my workplace. Will getting in the bin save me from a rotten retirement?

Morning all!
The wind blew hard overnight, but the house appears to be none the worse for it.
The boy has gone back to school today, incredibly overexcited he was.
TVblog: Seinfeld.
Warhermitblog: finished some Epic-scale miniatures, so have now moved onto everyone’s favourite space-fascists - Space Marines! Started on a quartet of Ultramarines.

Fishing is fun, the only annoyance is locating the fish you need. It can get a bit buggy at points, if in doubt use your bow. Nowhere near as tough as fishing in RDR2.

I was looking forward to logging off at work yesterday and getting on to Red Dead Online. Instead I worked to nearly ten o’ clock, ate an improvised fridge meal and watched two episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
It was ok.

Pre-manufactured dedicated fridges are available reasonably cheaply.
Anyway at least now we know who has been importing CFC and freon on the grey market.

Hello.
Games: bit of Borderlands 2 couch co-op with another member of my household. It is a fun game, though hard to follow the chaos on the split screen. Perhaps I need a bigger telly.
Telly: having finished Sopranos, in a bit of a rut. Tried a thing on NOW called Quarry, which is ok.
Ottm: aren't our retirements already in the bin? I imagine The Man will be making us work to 70 or 75 by the time I get near the finishing line.

Games
Finally managed some Fortnite Duos. Shenguin got us to second place then passed out leaving me as Designated Survivor. There was only one enemy player left. I crept up behind and shot him, but didn't manage to kill him. After a chase I swapped to the shotgun and managed to hit him full in the face ending proceedings satisfactorily.
The game seemed very laggy at the end. Usually it is quite smooth. The win was despite (Because of?) this.
Shengers recovered sufficiently to attend the medal ceremony.
We did not do so well in the other games. A second place I think. And some other rubbish. The brand new island (which is very similar to the old one but different) has breathed some new life in to the game.

I also watched the second best film - T2. I watched the best film on Monday. I am uncertain whether to watch the extended special editions of both or to plunge straight in to Rise Of The Machines.

Hi
I've decided to be more optimistic so have stolen this and now BELIEVE:
Apparently, Steven Smith averages 122 in the last two ashes series. So if we can take the other 9 wickets for 24 we should hopefully have a 1st innings lead.
OTTM, Someone should really tell faceless that bin night is Monday night (for Tuesday am collection) as frankly it's embarrassing for everyone concerned.
