I did something silly at work, I told the company we are owed £12M by a third party and requested bank details for the payment. Then I had to email back later in the day to explain I misread the email and we in fact owe the funds. £24M swing which I am sure happens to us all, right?

Games: Age of Wonders 3 for 2h; I have to stop trying to get one of every monster or level 4 creature. Capturing a Chthonic Guardian is bad enough, but there's likely only two instances - most of the 2h has been spent save scumming the same battle in the first instance I've found. Why? Because there are 2 of them - killing them with my Level 20 hero, a Fire Dragon, a Phoenix, a Dark Angel, a Watcher and a Stone Giant is difficult, but doable (the Guardians have 2 x King Electric Serpents and a couple of Sorcerer's Apprentices as healers). However, the Serpents and the Apprentices can all stun and the former can kill all but the Fire Dragon and Phoenix in one battle round whilst I degrade 1 Guardian, then the other before getting yeeted out by the Serpents OR failing to immobilise or Dominate the Guardians. If I fail in either of the latter the Guardians shriek at each other, giving ALL their side Mind Control Immunity (breaking any controls I've establishes AND Inspire the lot. It's possible (once in over 5k hours), but it's such a ballache to achieve it. Here's a similar stack of mine with the Dark Angel in mid=scream... Other stuff: I'd better stop, eat and finish chores before Jeff's Luton crew turn up at God knows o'clock. Oh, and I deleted my Fuckbook account. I confess that I felt great having done so.

Hello again.
I went and got a haircut at lunchtime. I also ate a Pret a Manger Christmas baguette.
I'm supposed to be taking delivery of a winter hat, only I'm not at home to take delivery. I hope I have a good outcome in the roulette of delivery solutions.

It's a sort of a green army hat with woolly grey flaps for the ears. Like I'm a big tough guy. I was looking for traditional Tyrolean mountain-wear but found myself in a world of Czech army surplus ...

I think we, or at least I, have been prompted by Suckerberg's inadequate defence of their activities to congress ...

Gone for a beer with him. That's not an achievement but it's objectively better because not only did he agree with my comments (whatever they were, I don't remember) but I also got a beer. He really is a very nice person.

I've also been boosted this morning. Only waited 10mins instead of 15mins. What a rebel. Yesterday during PMQs one Tory backbencher asked whether the 15 minutes wait after the Pfizer booster could be reduced. Good to see that they have their priorities right and were willing to ask the tough questions on behalf of the electorate.

In any case, nope, it's an S1 class car. I was feeling generous. He'll never use it.

Here's a funny tale....
A mate had a look at my fancy new monitor, and was impressed enough to buy one himself.
Due delivery tomorrow, however he checked his Jeff account this morning and it said was delivered on Tuesday. No signature. No one-time passcode.
He is not chuffed and gets on the phone to Jeff, who says tracking is 'confused' but they will get him a replacement out straight away for delivery tomorrow. ' He has just pinged me to say the original item has just been dropped off - no signature - no passcode - 'driver' didn't even ring the bell....
He reckons it was being 'delayed deliberately' at the Colchester depot, hoping to drop off the radar, but that his call this morning has had them looking, so someone figured best to get it out to him sharpish.
He is now wondering what to do about the replacement which is apparently still on it's way to him.....

Baby When you send me the £12m I will send it straight back to you. Hang on, hang on, I'm not having that. I thought we'd agreed Tids was the online scammer and baby was old school cheque fraud? Though it does sound like he's trying to get up the chain with an audacious pre Xmas payout.
