I've taken Silcox's advice and have moved onto wine. McGuigan Shiraz. Lovely. Also, even though I'm still full from earlier, I can't stop eating the 'free' prawn crackers. I think they contain cocaine. Or goofball whizz popping ecstasy pipe dust.

More tablets erc. Doing anything for the last week has been enlivened by a very painful self-inflicted wound. I clipped my right hand forefinger nail and a small patch of the skin out of the corner. I'm a believer in leaving non-bleeding wounds open to the air ... But after a week of shouting "Fuck it" every time I do something, I've had to admit defeat and bandage it. Why haven't I mentioned it? Because I am not happy about revealing that I am a humongous wimp. But it's sooo disproportionately painful and I can't avoid using that finger.

So the PM has just told the child she's not going to a pantomime tonight with the Brownies in the SECC. On the actual fucking day of the event. Despite having doubts about it since Fri.
*I'm* the prick btw as I didn't think about it before she brought it up last night. I'm so fucking annoyed we didn't tell her yesterday.
Games. A little Forza. TV. Dead to Me.

When will my hat arrive?
I sent the seller - ‘east-sector’, in Poland - a polite message. I posted it into Google Translate so it would come out in perfect Polish. I’m hoping they will read it and think ‘This is a pleasant surprise from someone for England. We will surely expedite his order.’
I don’t know …
I don’t think I’ll see this hat until March…

Games
I played one game of Fortnite in Duos last night, and we won!
Then my companion suggested we play something else. We put on Red Dead Online but halfway through a horse-ride to a mission, he said he was falling asleep and had to call it a night.
Ah it was me wasn’t it? It was me. It was me.

Oh and any "oh no she didn't" comments will be met with a hard stare. I miss being told that everything that goes wrong is my fault. NOT! The most spectacular was when I told the ex-wife not to attempt getting home. The gritters at midday weren't keeping pace with the snow, the temperature already dropping below freezing and that with the hill up out of Beaconsfield, Gore Hill, Stanley Hill Avenue, the drop down into Chesham then the really steep climb* up to our place at the top of Waterside (the access road already turned into a toboggan run by the local cunt kids) there was really no chance of her getting home and to see if one of her colleagues would put her up for the night. I think stxdpr may understand how lethal that route gets in icy weather. She left it until 4 pm, got stuck in the stalled traffic on the hill up out of Beaconsfield and took until 10 pm to turn around and get back to her boss's place 2 miles away. And it was all my fault for not insisting that she came home earlier. I then ensured that I received a colder reception than the weather by telling her that I had told her not to attempt getting home! That lasted for over a week ... * one of the four steep inclines up Waterside from the bottom road by the River Chess...

Morning all.
We were supposed to be having my dad and his partner over for dinner today, but we’ve all got some sort of cold on the go here. So that’s that cancelled.
TVblog: Seinfeld and Lost in Space.
WarHermitblog: I’ve been painting five marines for the last week, but the brightness I require just isn’t happening. I’m cutting my loses, and putting them in the dip.

Hi
To even out last night's Chinese MSG-athon I'm making a cottage pie for tonight, to be served with carrots and tender-stem broccoli.
After his sad tale of gaming rejection, I was going to poke fun at Lazybones (no offence!) by posting the video from Airplane, where the chap bores the Nun into hanging herself, but the clip from youtube was just part of a longer sequence of the film and lost its purpose.
Also can hopefully 'Get Gaming Done' later.

Morning
I am also planning a cottage pie. Carrots will be grated into the pie mix, as is the weird way of the PM.
Tomorrow will be leftover curry, while she is at work. A win-double….. games may be involved.

I've just finished updating my Tesco shopping lists; it takes ages because the website doesn't carry forward the bloody substitutions so that you have to re-enter them all again... (it's really really tiresome having to ignore all the stuff that I can't eat.) and battling my surgery's Repeat Prescription form whereby they keep removing items that I haven't ordered for a while resulting in goddam hours on the phone next week trying to get the online list adjusted AND get them ordered manually this time. It rather defeats the purpose of an online process...

I would gift a car to you Gongly, but you can only do one a week.

RIP Anne Rice
I have seen both films and I have read the Vampire chronicles, rather good on all counts. PS - the books were better than the films 4*
Ganes: same as always, run courier jobs, get hunted, win (by running/flying away) repeat.
films: no
The expanse: (which is strangely similar to E:D) building the tension by waiting for that binge moment when I will blitzkrieg the season.
OTM: headache, sniffles, blocked snoz, dizzy (mild), but ok.
end. K.

Oof chumbles, the hills the south of Wycombe were bad and I remember the other year all the rear wheel drive cars got stuck on the slight incline on the a404 to handy cross with everyone sleeping in the hotel and John Lewis.
