Finally made it to level 20, means bound bow and not getting killed as much. Bought Lakeview so busy building it.
Also picked up some armour which gives 100% resistance to fire. Very handy.

NP2: Started a couple of games... a slowish RTS game and a glacially slow TBS one. When I say slow, I mean it makes Diplomacy look blazingly fast. Normally a 'day' or Production cycle lasts 24h... In this one it's 48 days. Even with everyone making moves ASAP, because of time zone differences, it would be at a minimum 8 days.... Cricket:

Was pleased with myself after I set up my workstation so I could also watch the big TV. Not looking so clever now ey. Sandpaper anyone?
Played more of the aforementioned FIFA, got into the FA Cup quarters. Getting a bit bored now playing the computer. Maybe I need to go on that there interweb and play real humans, who will no doubt all know my mum.

Haha, not seen spidey for a few days. I think closing the lid on my laptop at the end of the day showed him I was not to be messed with. Unless he's under the floorboards plotting revenge and amassing a huge arachnid army.

I feel very sorry for my restaurant friends that have had all their Xmas trade destroyed, some are considering just closing for all of january in the hope of avoiding going totally bust. Where are the grants and support if you tell all the people not to go out to eat and celebrate? Thankfully its not hit us in retail yet but it easily could.

I've got a Christmas eve dinner booked at a local restaurant for the family. I am inclined to cancel it now but it's a bit awkward as we sort of know the owners. Considering asking them if they can do it as a takeaway, which would make it the most expensive takeaway ever by several dozen orders of magnitude.
