Apparently it's only 6 episodes True, but I don't trust the drunken slobs in here to keep schtum about it... I clocked in early morning to find that the late night crew had destroyed the tree, pissed in the corner kicked the cat, eaten Santa's cookies and shocked the dog with the fairy lights to see whether it would glow in the dark... it did |

Listening to Bette Midler's Christmas album as we're round the in-laws. Once the concrete sets and the paving is laid I can change the music though.

I didn’t get into bed til 1:40am this morning, thanks to late-night baking, Die Hard, and then washing up. Consequently, I was still absolutely shattered when the boy woke up this morning.
I think I even fell asleep while he was watching some telly after he’s opened his presents.
Since I won’t be seeing my side of the family til tomorrow, I’ve only received a couple of bottles of wine and some foody bits so far. And a subscription to New Scientist.
Time for another snooze I think.

I love it when people make that joke about die hard being a Christmas film. It’s so rare that you hear it that it’s a real pleasure every time. It’s not as if fucking everyone brings it up every time anyone says anything about Christmas films as if there might actually be someone on the planet who hasn’t heard it yet.*
