I'm tired this morning because I played Animal Crossing for too long. Then I slept and dreamed that I was in the world of Shin Megami Tensei (Japanese sex dungeon game, as it's known around these parts). The AC/D(L)C is incredibly more-ish. I mean, who wouldn't want a dormant volcano in their bedroom? Or in their front garden? People who live in fear of active volcanoes, that's who.

LFT day 5 (test #4) - Negative.. Mrs D tested negative yesterday.
If my daughter gets negaive LFTs tomorrow and Saturday she is clear of isolation and the rest of the family will have managed to avoid it.
Here's hoping.

Wordle
I like to vary the starting word a bit. 5 different letter from those scoring 1 in Scrabble. Occasionally the odd 2 might get in.
If people say the word is tough I might not include an E.

Sat in the dentist waiting room. Considering a run for it. Phew! Considering I'd not been since The Before Times™, in early 2019, that wasn't too bad. Got to go back for a 'thorough clean' next month. I'll take that. Hopefully I'll look like Liverpool hot shot Roberto Firmino. Let's get this right. I thought you'd gone to the dentist, not the Belgravia clinic and a tanning salon.

I think it was the dentists polite way of saying "we need to clean quite a bit of build up, but have other appointments and that mess will take ages, so come back next month"

I'm supposed to be working today, but I can barely face it. I have compromised with myself that I can spend the first two days on the couch with the telly on. We'll reassess on Monday, once I've regained a full grasp of the daytime schedules.

Wordle 201 4/6

Bit of a tricky bugger that one.

More dentistry chat.
I'd imagine it would be easier to get into Buckingham Palace than the dentist. On arrival the sign on the door states face masks to be worn (standard) but then when the door is opened, and prior to being allowed to approach the desk (and then the waiting area), a young lady put a gun to my forehead, ok a temperature gun, then told me I was too hot (oh yeah, Fonzy voice) and I had to "go outside to cool down for a few minutes". When I came back I was "too cold". Well, duh, it's minus one out there!!
More dentist tales next month folks.

I've got a good starting word.
The Wordle gods punished me yesterday for using a different word.

I considered not playing Wordle today. You have to be getting consistently 3/6 just to maintain a feeling of adequacy. If you lose it's as if a trapdoor opens at the bottom of your world, and you fall through.

Dentistry Chat.
I bit something hard the other day and spat out what looked like a bit of tooth. I had been eating mashed potato, so there can't have been any pressure. I can't identify anywhere in my mouth that feels like a broken tooth. Exactly the same thing happened about 3 months ago, and after that the dentist claimed he couldn't see any broken teeth. It's quite troubling. Are my teeth so knackered that when bits fall off them nobody can tell the difference? Am I regurgitating pieces of someone else's teeth? Either way, it shows you shouldn't believe everything whatalark tells you about the benign qualities of the potato.

All kicking off in Kazakhstan. I think it's great that Russia has an MP called Leonid Kalashnikov getting involved.

Potatoes made strong with mammalian DNA, and growing teeth.

If not try chilli and menthol at the same time and somewhere is bound to hurt.

You ever think about the coincidence of the kalashnikov being invented by a guy called Kalashnikov?
I mean, what are the odds?
