I suppose people were tiny then. I like the idea of going into the past and being a towering Brian Blessed type figure - clanging heads together on the battlefield.

One of the most terrifying things about Great White sharks is that they live in the Mediterranean. Apparently they breed in the waters between Sicily and Tunisia.
This is one of my least favourite pieces of information.

I think upper class men averaged 5'6" to 5'8". Edward I was about 6'2" maybe taller, Henry VIII was over 6 foot. It is difficult to imagine them riding a pony in an army. Especially after Henry started to put on weight. Mounted men at arms probably weren't mostly especially short. They would have been pretty well fed as they were basically brought up to be soldiers. Brian Blessed is only 5'9". He has a big build but isn't that tall.

The only way a shark can get rid of temptation is to yield to it.

This is one of my least favourite pieces of information. The Med is thought to be have the densest population of Great White Sharks. However, they never attack humans in the med. Possibly, though far from certain, because the Great White Mediterranean population don't feed particularly on seals, and there is possibly a link between Great Whites feeding on seals and attacking humans. We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I was rooting for the Cybermen, a great bunch of lads. Cybermen did it for me. Dalek-lama, a very wise and venerable gentleman/lifeform.

Unfortunately the posts all seem to be old on this so no fix, if you know how I can fix this I would be grateful for the info. GIT GOOD SCRUB. "It's not me it's them" never a truer word spoken.

I was entertained by the Daleks, but never really scared by them. Davros was excellent. I liked it most when he ‘broke the fourth wall’ - ranting into the camera at the end of an episode, as the camera slowly zoomed in then - BOOSH - credits. wasn't he in Harry Enfield?

The Tom Baker era 'Crinoids' from the 'Seeds of doom' episode left some early scars on the psyche, but for sheer terror it has to be the giant ants in 'Them!'.

Although this article is a little more circumspect, and suggests there's only been in confirmed Great White attack in the Med: www.jtgtravel.com/wildlife/are-there-sharks-in-the-aegean-sea/This article is interesting, and covers the problems of counting sharks and documenting attacks by them. www.nationalgeographic.co.uk/explorer-magda-bou-dagher-kharrat#vpcp
