I watched a football match last night, and two episodes of Cobra Kai.
I also cooked a curry ... of sorts.
I need a new meal. Something new in the repertoire. Almost everything I make is a variation of 'spicy stew'.

I made a biryani. It's a bit of a faff as it takes about an hour, but worth it occasionally.
Basically I cooked a small mild curry (but with bird eye chilies in it) and rice and a hard boiled egg.
Once this was ready I combined it and put it in the oven while cooking a second fairly hot sauce.
I had some cauliflower that needed using so I used that.
It worked pretty well. I ended up with a dry basmati base with egg in it. And a good sauce to go on it. I had some chicken in the base, but there is no reason why it wouldn't work as fully vegetarian.
I make four different curries, plus varieties by sometimes adding yoghurt or cream to them. PLus a thai curry and various Chinese style things.
I suspect they are all very anglicised versions, but that is ok with me.
If you don't have variety* it all gets boring very quickly.

I had the bang bang cauliflower from Sainsbury's the other day. Was nice, though the usual bin/steak rules can apply.

Work is a pain. I had to speak to the angry Scotsman again earlier. I told him if he didn't leave me alone I'd dispatch the full cavalry from York under Edward Longshanks command.
I didn't really, I apologised (oooh sorry) that we'd fucked up something for him. He hates me, I'm sure.
Games, had a quick blast on Celeste. Started off fun, then turned ridiculously hard (Phwoar) so, as in life, I did my usual and gave up as soon as things got tricky.
Lunch, undecided. Might pop to Morrisons. Stay tuned for more content.

This was exactly my experience of Celeste. Enjoyed the first level, then got to a bit in the second level where you're being chased, rage quit and never went back. Also 'ridiculously hard' is no longer the preferred term. It's 'rewarding' As in "I spent hours getting killed and having to replay the same section over and over. It was so rewarding |

I think given there are only 6 episodes left I was expecting things to move forward a bit quicker. I didn't feel like much happened. Plus that Inaros junior is a right little dickhead.
