Except you't got a router. Yup, but despite being 'dispatched', after 2 weeks it hadn't arrived. I chased it up and a couple of days later a nice chap delivered it.
I hope BabyF fares better.*
*Not really, that would make me sound soft and I can't have that on the spreadsheet.

Wow! You really do enjoy explaining this stuff, don't you! It was more an attempt at snarky humour than explaining but there you go. Failed on both points. Morning. School holidays here till Tue. Had a run around in the Division last night. Then watched Question Time for the first time in ages. Loads of folk who hadn't had vaccines in the audience. The guy with the philosophy degree getting smacked down by the actual virologist was chefs kiss, though we were both cringing for the bloke. |

I switched from BT to Plusnet for internet and phone and today is the day BT turned off their internet and the new Plusnet box is due today at some point. Marvelous that Plusnet couldn't arrange for the hub to arrive before this happened. Total shit show. Good thing I can use my work phone's hotspot. The way I see it, there's only one reasonable response to this. You need to start trolling the Peter Kay / David Mitchell man who says 'We'll do you proud'. And when I say 'trolling' I suppose I mean 'Cyber-bullying'. Death threats get a bad rap these days but I imagine he'd see the funny side. |

To be clear, I don't wish death for the Peter Kay / David Mitchell man who does the Plusnet adverts. Well I do eventually ... as reward for a long life. A life filled with countless good acts, committed in penance for the adverts he did.

I'm not a fan of BT. Really not a fan. Their customer service is appalling*. Their billing is appalling to the point of being almost fraudulent. 3rd criticism for rhetorical purposes should go here.
Would I move to Plusnet? No no I fucking would not. I 'm sure Plusnet are fine, my parents use them and their internet seems to be ok.
* 11 years since I left them I am still pissed off about the hidden charges for a service wasn't using.
I mean literally they charged me £10 a month for not making enough calls. I was supposed to be on a £19 a month bill with free evening and weekend calls and internet bllling. I discovered they were taking £29 a month from my account. When I queried it they told me without a hint of irony and apology the extra £10 was because i hadn't used the line enough and it was in the small print and no they wouldn't refund it.
Which was fair enough I suppose.
I took the hint.

TVblog: Murderville. It’s the US version of Murder in Successville, with Will Arnett as the main detective.
Loved the first episode with Conan O’Brien, who Arnett describes as a “ginger monstrosity”.
Podcastblog: I’ve been listening to Smartless, again with Will Arnett, but also Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. I recommend the David Cross, Ron Howard, and Ricky Gervais episodes immensely.
