I phoned up sky and gave the guy a total bollocking as they were stealing from me. I didn't quite use those words - but they were charging me £10 a month for sky TV we didn't have or want. When the second guy came on the line he explained the £10 was so they could charge me even less for broadband/phone and they were doing me a favour. *Ahem*
We're with Vodafone broadband/calls. Will probably move to EE in Nov when our current contract expires. They'll give me 10% off as I'm an existing customer and would get 145Mb which is double what we're on now for slightly less. Plus they give you 20GB on your data plan. If of course they're still doing this and we've not all been nuked or have no power.
Cheese and tuna toasted Focaccia for lunch.

Today I have a bad back. It was not improved by carrying a 16 bottle wine case through the house. At least the case arrived this morning. I had concerns when I realised that it would be Yodelled in. On the plus side, I'm set for BDF.
I have never seen any Plusnet ads. Am I missing out?
It's been something like 20 years since we moved away from BT, I can't remember. Although over the last years there have been many phone calls informing me that my BT internet is going to be cut off. My recollection of BT internet is that it was dial up and very slow, so no great loss there.

Hmmm. Lazy is right. I guess because I like David Mitchell I was blinded by my dislike of the Plusnet guy and just couldn't see it.

The stock market has gone to shit and inflation will hit 7%. Forget Partygate and Brexit, if the Tories really fuck up the economy then they will be serious trouble. The real fun will begin when the temporary exemptions for imports/exports runs out in a month or so. Up till now the EU have required an admin-lite version. We'll soon be asked for full paperwork, supy chains will be hit and Kent will become a car park.

Wow! You really do enjoy explaining this stuff, don't you! It was more an attempt at snarky humour than explaining but there you go. Failed on both points. Morning. School holidays here till Tue. Had a run around in the Division last night. Then watched Question Time for the first time in ages. Loads of folk who hadn't had vaccines in the audience. The guy with the philosophy degree getting smacked down by the actual virologist was chefs kiss, though we were both cringing for the bloke. A quick look on twitter has indicated that this was an act, he's a comedian who was spoofing.

Morning
Lunch, Baxters Oxtail soup.
Internet, Beardy Branson. It's quite good apart from the monthly letters saying "Richard is a bit skint so it's going up by £1.50/£2/£2.50 a month"
Phone, Sony. Because I'm worth it.

I went to a branch of 'Honest Burger' and ate a plant-based burger with chips. I also had a 'Karma Cola'. To be honest - I just wanted a caffeinated drink and this was one I hadn't heard of. It had no caffeine in though. What a crock!
