High Rise is a good film. Was the book a reflection of how some feared humanity would live if fenced off in these isolated communities?
I reckon the council block of flats around Sheffield proved that fear well-founded. I was saw a telly flung off a roof from one.

Much like many of your lives, I failed today’s Wordle.
TVblog: Community, specifically Ass Crack Bandit.
Filmblog: Stowaway. Best space film I’ve seen in a while. All the stars.
Dinnerblog: Co-op spaghetti bolognese ready meal. Surprisingly good.
Tonight, I may treat myself to a takeaway curry.
Houseblog: tilers went out for lunch, arrived back wreaking of the skunk. Come on, mister and missus (they’re a married couple), you’re working on someone else’s home - where’s your selfrecockingspect?

What Winter Olympics event would you most like to do?
I think four-person bobsleigh. It’s fast, pretty thrilling (I bet), and you also get the team camaraderie.
Downhill skiing looks good, but you don’t need to compete to ski. It’s probably more fun / less stressful to go down at your own pace.

What Winter Olympics event would you most like to do? I think four-person bobsleigh. It’s fast, pretty thrilling (I bet), and you also get the team camaraderie. Downhill skiing looks good, but you don’t need to compete to ski. It’s probably more fun / less stressful to go down at your own pace. Ice Hockey. Although first I'd need to take skating lessons. Then buff up in the gym with BanyFark. Then learn the rules. |

It probably won't be Skunk™ as most folk don't grow it nowadays. But yeah it takes the piss going back into someone's house. Have an edible instead. No smell.
It's alway scaffolders and the likes vans that are reeking of weed. Just what I'd want before going up on a roof.
