I'm watching High-Rise on BritBox. I read the book a long time ago and enjoyed it. What did you think of this? I liked it until the chaos began about halfway through. I was thinking maybe it was because the book shows the chaos quite dispassionately, but it’s hard to show chaos dispassionately in a film … I don’t know …. I didn’t like the new ending either … |

I’m on the trains again as I have a 5 hour face to face Teams meeting today. Top banana. It’s the kind of thing where there might be an annoying degree of annoying audience participation, except the chap who runs it is so in love with the sound of his own voice that there isn’t actually any time left for you to have to do anything much. A mixed blessing.
YouTube - vast vids Elden ting preview is up, holy cow it looks good. Only two weeks left.
Games - more walloping in dying light 2. The story has quickly become completely ridiculous, but the walloping remains top banana. I learnt that I prefer a blunt weapon for whacking to a sharp one for cutting. It really helps you learn about yourself.

Morning all,
Used the mod in Cities Skylines to unlock the buildings and tiles. Couldn't be arsed to wait until my population hit a certain number before I could expand. Doing well cash wise, meaning I can finally vary it up a bit.
Needless to say I now feel guilty.

No games. I say that, I started the (very pretty) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy upgrade. Just got Chloe in the back of a truck after the first cut scene and the PM appeared downstairs.
Ottm. Ordered a new Freesat recorder from Richer Sounds. It's open box and was £80 cheaper than retail price. It's coming on Monday.
I went to the shops on the way home from the school drop off. Got some Mortons rolls, but talked myself out of getting bacon. Stupid boy.
