From yesterday Oh man. Our train to Scotland has been cancelled because of this storm. Gutting. We've got accommodation booked and everything. A lot of it pre-paid. What can I say? That is just a bastard. Have a hug 🤗 No chance of getting the train part way and a hired car / cab the rest. Mind you, I would check that your accommodation isn't / won't be affected by storm Dennis or Eunice. Thanks Chumbles. Hopefully we can conjure up a way to resolve the problem. |

Also, the last train from work is half three. I have a two hour meeting starting at 3 and my line manager is going to be unhappy about this. I don't even have any noise cancelling earphones with me to avoid the complaints.

Morning.
Eyepatch off so I can finally get some benefit from reading glasses and wraparound shades. Woot! The world is a painfully bright and shiny place at the moment.
During yesterdays op I was aware of piped music, which was absent during the first one. I thought it was rather ironic that they selected ‘Tears of a clown’, while I was being re-lensed. I made some comment to the surgeon about the Ludovico treatment, and how I was probably going to have a lifelong aversion to Smoky Robinson, but he either hadn’t a clue what I was going on about, or thought I was being a wise-ass. Possibly both.
Might have a bash at cities skylines later, as have made a start on the long awaited cock and balls suburb. My city is now a thriving 60000 strong metropolis, but is getting a bit of a pain to micromanage.
