You'd like my new toothbrush then. Shameless backdoor(?) new toothbrush boasting. I bought a pack of three, but went for the green one first, as I can't recall ever having had one in that colour.
Hang on, I've got Universal Studios on line 1.

Lazy ! If I wasnt riddled with coronavirus, me and mammifere P would have met you for a beer or two. Still testing positive unfortunately Sandy! That would have been great. We are currently in a sort of beery specialist bar - It’s the kind of place that serves quite small portions of insanely strong beer. It’s nice! I consumed some potato wedges and some hot sauce soussed cauliflower.

I am a bit concerned about Lay's run to the hills run for your life. Does he know something we don't?* Should I be plotting an escape? This weekend isn't that convenient. My car is in having its wheels dipped in acid and refaced**. Hopefully this will stop the rear passenger wheel from leaking air. I'm deeply uncertain about the whole dipping in acid thing, but the man assure me it is ok. * Obviously not about train timetabling ** much like Gongfarmer When the atom bombs hit there’s no better place to be than a Scottish mountain.

Lazy, glad you got to your destination, you did the first* thing I would do; go to a pub and drink.
Though I can't imagine anyone else here doing anything different.
*apart from dumping the bags in the room.

In his absence, I am determined to stink out Dr. Bones' jukebox as much as I can.
Well, until I pass out due to experimentation in the field of boozology.

Aberdeen had brewdog and six degrees north within stumbling distance. The only problem with small strong beers was what they did to your stomach the next-day. Also I think the European beers had a sugar crash with them the next morning.

Do a lot of people in Scotland generally dislike people from Aberdeen?
I went for a big run in Elgin once and a man who I sort of ‘co-ran’ with for the first hour or so had some hate-speech for people from Aberdeen. He has some funny ideas, as a whole, though. I’m glad he began to outpace me.

I dont think hating Aberdeen is just a Scottish thing, still viscerally dislike from the south of England.

Evening
Howling wind out there. Hope you're all managing to avoid being blown off.
Just finished Uncharted 4. Got. Uncharted. Done. A heartwarming ending. Maybe I'm getting old and sentimental. Ahh..
Now to start Lost Legacy...

@gong 60k, that's impressive. I got mine up to 45k then restarted, it's currently around the 20k mark. What's the biggest issue with your city? I’m now at 98K. I think I am the biggest issue with my city. constantly having to demolish abandoned buildings, and can’t seem to keep up with corpse collection even with a huge surfeit of crematoria. Power water and pollution are fine, garbage is ok, and am moving all industrial out to a dedicated suburb it’s cargo terminal and harbour seems logical. I think I’m having a ‘death wave’ from early overexpansion. Also almost no one is using any libraries. I have free public transport, and the roads are pretty much ok as far as the early gridlock. I’m not sure which direction to head in next.

I don't think Aberdonians are disliked more than other people. Scottish people just hate all other Scottish people, based on a grid of grievances and stereotypes specific to the normal residence of the hater and the hatee. A rich culture of micro aggressions which generated the Enlightenment.

Fierce windy here. The gazebo canopy roof has disappeared. Needed replacing anyway. Hope that’s the only casualty, but I fear what the dawn will bring.
Stay safe.
