Maybe next year. There's been some good loot already, including a new microwave so that I can join amipal and his cat in experiencing the culinary delights of a good Co-op microwave meal. Over the years Surjit has delivered many wonderful treats to my door, games, laptops, new phones, and more. But only now have I checked out his little biography on the DPD app. He supports V****. You think you know someone... Oof. I live in an area that is about 80% rat so it is always a risk. There is a coffee shop in the local row of shops. It is ok, but I refuse to use it at all as I found out the owner is a DVB. We also have a number of clients who are part of enemy forces. It is very difficult, especially when they are a lot better than us. Fortunately I have become adept at nourishing bitter resentments while (mostly) being polite over the decades. Also my desktop is a picture of our League cup win. While this is increasing old they are going a minimum of 27 years between trophies. P.S. Also happy birthday. |

I’ve just been reading The Good Book. Leviticus has some strong injunctions. Some strong penalties too. Death penalties and burning. Come on The Lord. Give us a break. I've been reading The Anatomy of God, very interesting. If I were to have my studying days over again I think I'd get into the OT big time. Fascinating how it links in with the other cultures of the time. |
