I had a burrito for lunch. It was loosely packed and fell apart in my hands. Then I went to a local branch of Caffe Nero and had a cup of coffee and a piece of cheesecake. I got into conversation with a man who had just completed a job interview over the phone. We talked about the war in Ukraine, we talked about Liverpool, we talked about his new job in Stoke-on-Trent. He also extolled the virtues of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who I am now going to read about on Wikipedia.

I've been testing out the O2 in my blood and also my pulse pre and post fag. The O2 didn't change, but my pulse jumped up by 5bpm. Then, I invoked a Zen-like trance and my pulse dropped by 10 bpm.
Fascinating stuff, I'm sure you will agree.

This has suddenly reminded me of the existence of DCS, specifically the A-10 varian.t How much were those graphics cards again?

He was clear about the efficacy of Russian military equipment, saying it seemed very low tech - almost a joke - but in actual fact it was more reliable, the parts were easier to replace, and it was not so vulnerable to the threat of a nuclear electromagnetic pulse. He was extremely scornful of the F-35. |

I mentioned the restaurant and the ex-Tornado pilot. And maybe his opinion on the F-35. But not his opinions on Russian military equipment. Maybe I did. I can't remember. |

Most of Russia’s armed forces are quite out-of-date, and what is modern is either too low in numbers, not reliable, or not as capable as they’d hoped.
I don’t think Vlad counted on such strong resistance from Ukraine.
