Toasters are really easy to keep clean, but if you've got a build up of crumbs, just put it in a full bowl of hot soapy water, and turn it off and on again a few times. As the elements heat up the water they produce movement in the water that helps to lift the crumbs away. Swishing the water around with your fingers near the elements when it's switched on also helps. Fine, I will give this a go and report back. It's well overdue for a clean. You might want to consider sharpening and cleaning your food mixer blades at the same time. Very similar process: in the water, switch on to full speed with blades attached, plunge hand into mixer. |

Bollox; my nurse is coming "at the earliest 2 p.m." - she's the community team's head nurse and manager. This is a big problem for me as I can't eat anything much until about 4h after she's finished. I am not a happy bunny.

My toaster broke several months ago and so I have been using the grill. I prefer it tbh.
Cool story. I'm looking forward to it being made into a Hollywood film, with Ryan Gosling playing Faceless, and Morgan Freeman as the voice of the toaster

I played two games last night: Fortnite and Dark Souls 2.
I am a coward in Fortnite. I let my team-mates down. On two occasions they all got killed and it was revealed that I was on a hillside away from the action, having watched / heard it all taking place. They then watched as I ran in the other direction and got shot down in the dirt. I redeemed myself in the end. I think. I hope.
Dark Souls 2
I spent three hours walking around the map / trying to get past this flying knight. It then turned out there was a chain I had to pull to open a gate. Like a chain for a 1950s out-house toilet. I have opened the gate. The game has improved.
I am not very good at Dark Souls 2.

I toasted some malt loaf yesterday (in the toaster). I can't say it improved it.
Today I had raw malt loaf with peanut better.
I've just got a malt loaf to get through.
