I'm listening to Edvard Grieg. You know why?

I removed my ‘like’ from the faux-fu image. It looks like a Viz advert so I assumed I would think it was funny. I’ll be honest - I ‘liked’ without thinking.

I don’t ‘dislike’ it as such.
I’m glad we can speak freely.

Toasterchat. My mate confessed that his Spanish wife puts the toaster in the box and back in the cupboard after each use.
Her Spanish friends all do this.

Hello. I took home a couple of laptops from the mental health place I do some volunteer work for. Was to put Windows 10 on and freshen for a couple of new members of staff. Wiped the first one and installed win 10. Tried to enter the serial and then remembered we'd bought Windows 10 upgrades back before covid as that's what charity digital exchange were selling. So I've had to reinstall windows 7, then upgrade to 10, then wipe with a fresh 10 install. Marvellous.
No games, no TV - though the pm was watching some thing about Rolling Stone Magazine she'd recorded. Ice T being very scathing of Tipper Gore was amusing.

We use our toaster every day, I'm not faffing around putting it away everyday. It's actually more old breadcrumb than toaster now and I'm afraid to wash it in case the old crumbs are holding it together. It sits next to our old manky microwave in the kitchen corner. Our corner of shame.

Our corner of shame. Toasters are really easy to keep clean, but if you've got a build up of crumbs, just put it in a full bowl of hot soapy water, and turn it off and on again a few times. As the elements heat up the water they produce movement in the water that helps to lift the crumbs away. Swishing the water around with your fingers near the elements when it's switched on also helps.

If you clean it whilst in the bath you can submerge it more easily and clean it better.
