Bit more robo dino pottering. Seems that there is a lot of extra bits to do but all quite shallow, not really getting its claws in to want to stick with exploring. Might have a go at smashing some of the big creatures that lurk around or head back on the main story.
Another AC vikings game seems a bit soon to be that different from the last, is it just a reskin like they did with the post apocalypse farcry?

Keef sounds like the kind of person who would cite 'the smell of books' as a reason to not buy e-books. A book smeller. I'd rather read a physical book than look at a screen. But with computer magazines, in the 1980s, I just wanted the hot fresh Spectrum content. There's no point in reading about something weeks after it's been available on the internet. |

Morning all!
Ring - tremendous stuff. Smashed up Bloodknight Darren and went wandering around the weeing peninsula. Some interesting sights there. Got smashed into oblivion by a giant octoball, and discovered some black phantoms in the dragon lake. I also heard about a thing the game does on a podcast. Its possibly the most amazing thing in a souls game so far. All I'll say is It involves stormnuts castle and you probably wouldn't find it out by accident.
Triangle strategy - 'played' some of this as well, by which I mean I sat through a lot of dialogue, which included a well animated pixel man passing out drunk. Top banana.
Also took drink. Feeling a bit worse for where today.

Elden Ring Started it. Played a couple of hours. S'alright innit. Mostly I have been picking flowers and smashing up soldiers in the starting area. Like a medieval Putin. I met a couple of bigger enemies who sliced me up good. It's very much a souls game with fewer walls. Though it mostly lack the oppressive sense of dread that characterises Souls âmes sans des murs? |

Morning
I too smashed some Ring last night and drank too much boozes. Did lots a running around exploring and then returned to the site of my glorious victore over Margate. Crept round the side of the castle walls. Was all going well until those damn eagles from Lord of The Rings turned up and pecked my face off. YOU DIED. I also beefed up my Bloodhound Fang to +1.
OTTM, Chinese takeaway tonight!

Anyone been playing that ELEX 2? Its only the game Elden Ring could of been. A full on eurojangler made by the mad lads who make Risen. That's not to say I've bought or played it, but I admire how mental and poorly put together their games are. The voice acting in one of their previous efforts (Arcania?) sounded like it was recorded by people who have never heard actual humans speaking English (or interacting in any way) before. Its going on the wish list.

Respeced into full sorcery, much easier, now off to some snow place to pick up various items.
I've found that I have to set a few goals going full Clooney, today's was respec and beat Boss 5, so now I can wander around and get distracted which is so easy in this game.
