Rolling Ignore Sheeps. Buy the disk version. Also an extra controller and the charging station (which is tremendous). If you want to go full PS5 wanker fanboy like me then buy the PULSE 3D™ Headset. You twat. I said I bought the disk version and an extra controller. I also have the pulse headset. I don't use it though. I run the sound through surround speakers. Which is better. The charging station is completely unnecessary. Just charge from a socket or from the PS5. I use cheap earphones for speech as it is weird to have someone talk through the controller. In summary: 65" hdr tv 7.1 surround sound set up Ps5 SSdD HD Controller Pulse headset You won't get much change from a kidney. Still cheaper than a gaming pc though.

The input lag will be horrendous on a large telly like that, which coupled with the 30 FPS you are lucky enough to reach means the experience will be frankly horrible. PC gaming is the way, particularly if you are into any kind of competitive shooter. Granted going to PC may cost both kidneys.

The surround sound speakers come from 2005 and weren't expensive then. I think it was £350 for speakers plus receiver. I've upgraded the receiver twice so that it can use HDMI and a network, neither of which were things in 2005.
I am thinking about getting a new set of speakers, but the ones I'd like are (a lot) more than I want to pay. The trouble is that the current speakers are perfectly fine. Better than a soundbar (unless you go very dear).

It feeds straight in to the TV on games setting and the sound out is via eARC. I don't tend to play online twitch shooters* so I really don't notice any lag. What I do get is a massively spectacular fuck off picture. I don't have to sit in a tiny bedroom straining to convince myself that a 23" picture is better than a 65" one. *Fortnite aside and my record at that is an unrealistic 27% solo wins this season.

PS5 is not locked at 60 FPS. Plenty of games are already dipping well below that.

Last night, whilst playing B4Blood, I took some time to read the graffiti in one of the safe-houses. One such scribble read thus:-
"I miss the TV" "I miss the internet" "I miss pizza" "I miss your Mom"
Ambiguity at it's finest.
