Also Emmanuel Le Roy Lauderie. A big name amongst French medievalists and microhistorians. Niche. 'Emmanuel Le Roy Lauderie' is quite a big name admittedly. He is a big name in the post-Albigensian Crusade history of the Cathars. His area is Languedoc up to the 1790s. I was surprised to find he is still alive. Some of his books have been translated in to English, which is rare for a French historian. I enjoyed his book on the village of Montaillou.

Roy Story
Young Timmy Brown is an ordinary 8 year old boy who lives with his Grandpa, Roy 'Chubby' Brown, in Fulchester England. Timmy's pride and joy is his collection of Roys that he plays with each day. His favourites are a tap dancing robot called Roy Castle, a cuddly Roy Cropper teddy bear and and a Lego policeman, Roy Schneider. But when Timmy goes to sleep something magical happens. The Roys come to life! One day, Grandpa brings home a new Roy. A Roy Rodgers cowboy! Roy Rodgers tells the other Roys that 'Things are gonna change round here y'all, there's a new sherrif in town'. Timmy's life is about to change forever!
Rated PG In cinema's March 29. Don't miss the blockbuster of the year. A heart warming tale of Timmy and his Roys.
'A masterpiece' - Roy Keane 'Better than The Phantom Menace' - Jim Royle '****' - Keef Stuart

I am watching Rambo: Last Blood. It's no Rambo III. Just started watching it. Rambo setting his traps. Looks a bit like Home Alone.

I think I should always just watch the last half hour of action movies. To cut out the crap. Cut to the chase.

TV: Reacher is incredibly violent... I am enjoying it. 4*
I'm hoping for sleep, but the Women's World Cup is more likely... Not quite so violent. - Anent the cricket, it's a poor show that TMS isn't doing commentary on the WIndies matches - especially now that Root has remembered how to use his bat.
