Since finding out I can just get on my horsey and run away from everyone else I don't think I've even been in combat. Not intentionally at least.
I want to live in a little shack like the Warmaster and not go into the scary world.

I went on a P&O ferry once, across the channel. There was a man on board wearing a sailor’s cap and a nautical shirt or blazer with an anchor (maybe?) and P&O branding. Beneath it there was the phrase ‘50 years’. One of my travelling companions said ‘50 years of what?’ And he replied ‘50 years of good business.’
I suppose there is no moral to the story. Maybe the man got sacked?

As I posted last night, my enjoyment of the Everton v Newcastle match was rudely interrupted when Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall invaded the pitch and tied himself to the goal post using his neck. The Amazon Prime camera was all over it, zooming in etc rather than the usual bollocks on sky where they turn the camera away because they know what's best for you. Hugh was wearing a red t-shirt with yellow/gold letters, but you couldn't tell what it said, so I was unable to judge him or his cause. Anyway, turns out the t-shirt read "STOP OIL".
What a bellend.
Ahhhh, that's better. Judging someone I don't know and judging their cause I don't know about.

I worked, for a few months, in a P&O Nedlloyd office in Liverpool. Although there was the occasional lapse into intense boredom I liked it a lot. Good people. I had a big map of the world covering my desk.
