morning all,
HorizonChat.
Going along nicely, going for an archer build. Getting up close with anything never ends well.
Also recorded another p****st episode with a guest all about Marathon. Apparently it had a resurgence in the 19th century as the Brits paired it with Waterloo.
Scamander snr suffered a fall at the weekend but it wasn't all that bad. And no, my dad isn't Chris Rock.

You want a sharp shot bow with tearcast arrows. Blasts bits of armour off, makes it easier. Also tears off weapons and parts on the bigger guys. I discovered a giant spinosaurus off the coast in it the other day, and ran away like a nervous nelly. Does the sharpshot bow automatically equip tearcast as the standard artow type? Got Kue's bow which looks good. |

Game wise, I've been playing Fortnite and having a blast due to the no building.

I don't know if it is the matchmaking or the bots have improved, but I am struggling to win. It might just be that in duos Shenguin always dies and leaves me in a 1v2 final fight. But this happened before and I still won a decent number of games. I can't win in solo games either. It feels like other people have auto aim on. It might just be I haven't played enough games. |

I may be wrong, I often am, but can't they stop these? It's a usb device - it will have a usb id number. PS could be scanning for them and make them not work. If it was a device that enabled piracy they'd be all over it. Dunno if game devs can do that or not if they have access to the sub system.

It was blatant there was a lot of scripting in Fortnite with the building. People would have complex structures up instantly. 10+ pieces laid out correctly in a second sometimes over 2-3 storeys. There is no legitimate way of building that fast.
There are aiming scripts as well. I suspect there are scripts for breaking aim which make it almost impossible to get a kill if it takes more than 1 shot.
Online games have always been a magnet for cheats.

I think it's controller players too, it's certainly very popular on console. Apparently as the device handles all the "scripts" it cannot be detected by the game. I only really notice it when playing Fortnite so I assume it's the cross-play and the console kids. I think on PC you have more options and people tend to go for very obvious aim bot and radar hack, the latter is a real problem on PUBG. |
