[blows into mic] is this clown on? I got my arse in gear in the end. First of all, I tried to alter the angle of the TV. It is ever-so-slightly wonky, so I took the TV off the mount and tried to alter how the mount sits on the wall. I think it looks better. Then I created a card “plug” for the hole in the chimney alcove where the TV cables trail down. Should mean less of a draught on windy days. After some lunch*, I then went and cleaned the bath. That was in desperate need of it, let me tell you. And after all that, I eventually got sat down in the conservatory and was able to do a fair bit of painting of warhermit miniatures. Hot!

We went to the park. Had a good wander and then went to the playpark at the top of the park. Most of the parents were trying to avoid looking at the pink dildo in the sand. One dad had no choice as his toddler grabbed it out the sand and ran to him with it.
Fajitas for dinner. This kinda involves two meals as the child doesn't like too spicy or cooked peppers. So she has milder with raw peppers added at the end. Slowly adding more spice every time we have it to her pot.

Speaking of dogs, meet Flossie - I discovered this searching for a funny image to go with this "Dog owner horrified as pet Flossie returns from walk"... ... it was followed by a picture "Dog for adoption - Flossie is Great Pyrenees & Labrador Retriever Mix"! Seems a bit harsh

Did someone here go to York recently?
If so, what's the word? What's worth seeing/doing?

Did someone here go to York recently? If so, what's the word? What's worth seeing/doing? We did and it is well worth it, quite a small city so not a lot of walking to see everything, I seem to remember quite few places are shut on Mon/Tues. Things to do: National Railway Museum - pre-book and go early, take lunch Guided walking tour - free with donation approx 2hrs Walking around the walls We ate here and they were very good: Melton's RestaurantPairings Wine Bar<edit>Also York Minster <edit><edit>We were there for 3 nights

He didn't even go to the Bird of Prey place up the road. His comments here are nul and void.

That "...lunch*" is going to haunt me. Same here. I need closure.

I had some noodles with satay sauce for tea.
Not strictly noodles. I used spaghetti. Very nice though.

Teriyaki salmon stir fry with udon noodles for dinner. Lunch was salmon & broccoli quiche with side salad. Yesterday's dinner: pan fried salmon with potatoes, asparagus & lemon butter sauce. Yes, this guy has been doing my shopping lately. How did you know?

Fuck this, I'm going to get a kebab. It's not like I have to eat it or anything.
