There is a series on Netflix called Don't F*** with Cats which is partly about animal cruelty on YouTube. They show a lot more of the footage than I expected. Not nice. It's a good programme though.

I didn't respond to the ghost question yesterday, because despite my best efforts I've never had any paranormal experience, except for a disembodied voice in the toilets of a Belgian campsite at 3 o'clock in the morning. As far as I could make out it was whispering "là-bas", which I took as a reference to something buried beneath, maybe the septic tank.
I have never been to Dartmoor, but I know the stories about the hairy hands. I'm disappointed that as far as I know no one has named the ghost Harry.
Many years ago I was surprised to find that my friend Roger White, archaeologist at the Roman site in Wroxeter, was featuring on an episode of a Discovery Channel programme on the topic of mysteries. He was being interviewed to add some local colour to the story of a bloke who had found himself one evening in the ruins of Viroconium when he inexplicably heard the sound of people and horses near the parameters of the Roman city wall.
Of course, there have been quite a few such encounters with Roman ghosts in Britain, which makes me a bit jealous because I've never heard of the sight of a Mesopotamian ghost. Maybe they don't have the right ley lines or something. But there are plenty of ancient ghost reports from Mesopotamia, so maybe there are paranormal expiry dates?

Why has Yvette left such a big gap between her and Holly? Does Holly have bad BO? Or has Yvette brought one of her ghostly friends onto the show? Perhaps it's the shade of Gordon the Gopher sitting there, glaring resentfully at Scho****d. I can't say, because I don't have 'the gift'.

It's alright, not as good as Breaking Bad for me. Episode 2 was a bit ridiculous, I won't mention spoilers but I had 3 issues with the plot. |

I'm watching Blues Brothers on itv4 (+1). One of my all time favourite films and easily in the top one of my favourite musicals.
