Elite chat.
I have only played the Xbox version but you do get the choice of Solo play which is minimal interaction with other 'Commanders' and open play which includes everyone. There is also Arena play and training, the latter of which appears to be unique to Elite as Star Citizen seems to throw you in at the deep end along with No mans, I don't know if the same can be said of Eve.
Elite does have a 'real time' layout of star systems, distances and Engines called Frame Shift Drives which appears to be based around an Alcubierre drive.

Was in trouble with no more meds and I flanked the last other duo to find the last player trying to revive a teammate behind a tree. Rookie error to do that without a smoke grenade. I sprayed him down.

More neighbours have put up Jubbly decorations. I fear the neighbourhood is going south. By next week it will be union jacks hanging from every window and the town crier shouting bring out yer dead. I was better off in Pinchbeck with the goat men.
Someone pointed out on twitter that when this kind of pomp and circumstance is on display in North Korea while people starve and can't afford to heat their houses, we make fun of them.

Eve Online? My dad plays it on his ancient laptop. His favourite trick is to allow invaders to enter his ship's port and then detonate explosives there as they try to dock. |

You can turn off the invading snipers from the menu. I disabled an armoured car last night, but the stoopid git in the turret kept firing at me. He regretted that move, I can tell you.

Afternoon all.
Had a nice amble around Leonardslee Gardens this morning. Many hours spent in the glorious sunshine, surrounded by lakes, flowers, and tall trees. Lovely stuff.
Then this afternoon I washed the car - could have done with it two weeks ago, it was rather grubby.
Of course, we’ve had light rain since.
