I made an achar (nott) gosht curry last night, but with chicken not lamb,
Also I lacked the right sort of chillies, so I put in a scotch bonnet instead.
It was hot, sour and spicy.
I will cook it again.
I have half the spice mix left so I have to.
It was pretty good.

I'm considering the same. What did you order? Veg samosa, onion bhaji poppadoms* for starter, chicken Dhansak, ginger chicken, bombay aloo, mushroom bhaji, Dhal masala and 1 rice. *plain and spicy  |

Decided I'd save indian takeaway for tomorrow (my last night as a free man) and ordered pizza hut as they have some great deals:
Large Veggie sizzler
Hot n spicy chicken strippers/goujons (x8)
Normal chicken goujons (x5)
4 x dips (2 x hot sauce, 2 x BBQ,)
£20 squids!

Tonight's foreign muck was hoisin duck with noodles and a side of prawn toast with lashings of hoisin sauce. Tasty, very tasty.
