Thank you for the warm welcome tenthenemy
Now that I have a spare battery which swaps in an out in the wink of an eye, the zombocalypse weapon of choice would have to be the cordless flymo. Light enough to wield horizontally for extended periods, with sufficiently sharp blades and high enough revs to make catering size quantities of zombie salsa. Bonus - could potentially trim the verges at the front at the same time, depending on size of undead horde etc
Lunch was reheated leftover madras sauce from our local tandoori, with a Davidstow cheddar cheese sandwich on buttered white bread to dip in. Bliss.

14/15 I think I may have peaked. Only the cheese eating surrender monkey question stood between me and a perfect score. Quelle merde. Admittedly I had to read the physics question about 10 times before I understood it because I was districted thinking about the Sumerian cubit. Next week when they bring back popular music and TV questions I will be back to my usual mediocre performance. 11/15... too many holes in my memory; and one of your comments led me astray... Here's the linkie

I think that unit has already been disbanded. After a retreat...

My weapon of choice is a cricket bat, although past experiences tell me that I am more likely to miss than hit...

My worry with the Flymo is the blades would get blocked by zombie flesh pretty quickly and also the blades would blunt fast against all that bone. Then there is the problem of powering it too.
I would go with a Negan style baseball bat.

I was upset, yet not surprised, that our only identifies as a lay-dee member didn't use yesterday's basic memory register chat to tell us to
Poke *this*
But tbf, she was probably worried someone might take her up on the offer.
Very busy. But on the plus side I've managed to get out of some stuff I was going to get roped into over the summer. Instead I've been roped into installing PC's across our branches over a couple of weeks. Earbuds in and music on whilst I'm left alone. Tremendous. Well until it all goes tits up.

I have ventured out in to the fresh hell.
Mostly I marvelled at the Jewellery Quarter traffic system. It is very much a Roguelike. Each time I go there there is a different set of closed roads and a different set of one way streets that are now running in the wrong direction. It's very impressive in its own way. It's just that it is very much one of those areas where past performance is not a good guide to current/future performance.
On the plus side it is not actually as bad as Digbeth where they appear to be building a tunnel directly to hell via a traffic jam.

My Mum has a British Citizenship ceremony tomorrow, I am hoping they spot an error somewhere and I get deported to Switzerland. Those alpine spring meadows are a lot nicer than inner city Sheffield. It'll be nice for you to visit a less mountainous part of the world.

Yesterday I watched a streamer getting their first ending in Hollow Knight. It wasn't a good one so he's going to go back and work on that. I'm probably also going to watch him co-stream the Geoffest tonight. Heard about the Nintendo Direct leak on Reddit. What a way to end your career. Here's that person's Word of the Day: Sorry it's a day late. (although I will only believe it once I see an official announcement) I stayed up too late to play more Xenoblade and am now out of sorts. Potato salad for lunch.

I stayed up too late to play more Xenoblade and am now out of sorts. Xenoblade is better than I remember - it gives you hints on when it makes sense to use the different actions. It also popped up a window during a boss fight saying "You seem to be an idiot, would you like to have full health and full charge permanently so we can get this over with?". Of course I accepted and the boss was nailed.

I didn't realise electric cars could go faster than 30. Your face’ll go faster than 30 in a minute, moosh. Anyway, how’d you know I didn’t get caught in my existing ICE vehicle?

In the case of anti-zombie weapons, you want something reliable, easy to maintain, something that doesn’t rely on a ready supply of power, fuel, or ammunition.

An anti-bear suit, I think. Not so much use against bears but excellent against the shambling undead.

My weapon of choice would probably be a Death Star The zombies might prove too small for your turbo lasers. And you’d have to destroy them ship to ship.
