What Crank said. Since kids I've become a morning person by default.
And introvert, obvs. Although that pre-dates kids

I have successfully rearranged work so I can start at about 9.45. Though was in at 9 today. I can also transfer the phones so I can be at home or out and about and still answer as if I am n the office. I have been known to answer from bed fairly late in the morning if I am the only one working that day.
This afternoon I came home to watch the cricket. I have done some work with the cricket on.
In London I used to start at 8.30 <shudder>.
I have always struggled to get to sleep at night and to get up in the morning. So starting work later is nice.

Afternoon all. Cricket on. TMS is like Savlon for the soul. A 2DS has arrived from ebay today to replace a 3DS which was dropped in a swimming pool in Minorca years ago. It's for my daughter really, to play the rest of the back catalogue of animal crossing games that she hasn't already got 300+ hours in... That said, used games on this platform are costing buttons nowadays - can anyone recommend favourites they may have played, on the DS or 3DS? Nothing too turn-based or JRPG, unless they're exceptional. Have a dozen or so games in the loft, will dig them out later, hard to remember what might be there. No JRPG or turn-based? That makes it more manageable. Nintendolife, bless their little cotton socks, have actually made a list of all DS and 3DS titles: www.nintendolife.com/games/browse?system=3dswww.nintendolife.com/ds/games/browseYou can also add 3DS eShop titles, but the eShop is going to close for good at the end of March next year and from the end of August this year you won't be able to add funds via eShop card. After that it's a pirate's life. - I'm going to start with Zelda games because if you have Zelda games what else do you need? The must-have titles are the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask remakes/remasters as well as A Link Between Worlds. (I'm glad that both OoT and MM are nowadays at least available on the Switch via the NSO subscription but before that I had always hoped that Nintendo would revamp the 3DS remakes for the Switch. Probably never going to happen now and the now the superior versions are stuck on the 3DS but frankly it's criminal. That also goes for Metroid: Samus Returns, the remake of Metroid II and another must-have.) On the 3DS there's also Tri Force Heroes which is a fun little co-op title but nothing special. More important is that the 3DS Virtual Console is atm the only way to play both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons unless you have a working GameBoy Color or have joined the pirate crew. Both are very good games. The virtual console has, of course, also Zelda I & II, A Link to the Past, and Link's Awakening, but those are also available by other means. There was also a 3DS version of The Minish Cap but it was only released to a few chosen loyalists. Finally the DS Zelda games, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. I played PH and the "stylus control or else" gives me hand cramps to the extent that I can't do the final boss battle so never finished it. I know that ST fixed a lot of PH's problems and is a better game but still haven't got round to checking it out so don't know. - If it's a busted d-pad in addition to the hand cramps you are after you could do worse than Kid Icarus: Uprising. - another 3DS remake that missed the boat for the Switch, in case your GameCube/Wii is out of reach: Luigi's Mansion. Also nice is Luigi's Mansion 2. - there's been a remake of Miitopia for the Switch recently but the game they should have remade is the extremely quirky Tomadachi Life. - you also get a choice of Ace Attorney and Professor Layton games if that's your jam - same for Monster Hunter - same for Fire Emblem (but maybe too JRPG-ish) - all the Mario & Luigi games by Alphadream (RIP) - haven't tried them myself but some people swear by Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land (also New Super Mario Bros. 1 & 2). Kirby: Planet Robobot is also well regarded. - last but not least, haven't tried it myself so don't know how JRPG-ish it is, but I'm aware that many people adore Ever Oasis, a game that failed to find a wider audience at the time but is frequently appearing on wish lists for a Switch port

I have a question. Well actually it’s three questions …. 1. Do you consider yourself a morning person, a ‘lark’? Or a … a night person? An …’owl’? 2. Do you consider yourself an ‘introvert’? Or an ‘extrovert’? 3. Do you think your answers to the above questions have any significant effect on your life, as a whole? 1) Depends on when Mrs T goes to bed, if it's early, I'll suck up 'Better Call Saul' until I'm pancaked. 2) Introvert, unless I lose my shit. In which case it's a question of just how fast you can run. 3) No. Unless you want to make something of it, well, do you, punk.*
*No offence.

5.30am is a good time for getting up. Potatoes peeled, veg prepared for dinner before 9am. Introverted winter person. Going to bed any time after 9.30pm is pretty damn late for me, 8pm is late in the winter. I'm getting up when you lot are going to bed.

I go to bed when I'm tired or I stay awake until 3am* watching YouTube videos whilst drinking alcoholic beverages.
I'm not an introvert or an extrovert.
No.
<edit>*or times in-between.

Afternoon all.
The speed awareness course went well yesterday. Really was very useful, and also very surprising in places. They don’t show you pictures of grotesque road traffic incident related injuries. It has meant that I’m not speeding anymore, so it’s served it’s function. But then there’s also the fact that I can’t attend another one for three years - so if I was caught speeding again it would mean points on the licence. No thanks.

I used to be a morning person, mainly because commuting into London meant that driving was much easier before 6.30 am. (A40/North Circular to Stonebridge Park and then A41/M25/M1 to Mill Hill) and back at 5.10 p.m. ... so up at 5, in bed by 10.. Nowadays I sleep in 1-2h patches and the bulk of sleeping done between 11 to 11, but only for about 4h most nights; after treatment about 11h! I'm like a rudderless ship docking at Port Medicine for tablets and potions every 6h. It's very tiresome... And I am a sociable introvert. I guess I am simply weird...

1. I really don't know anymore. Since losing my PM my sleeping pattern has become extremely irregular. It's turned me into neither owl nor lark because even those birds get some shut eye eventually. In the case of the owl flat on your face: But I'm now in the "no sleep" category. Generally I feel better early in the morning but only if I had enough sleep. So, rarely. 2. I would say introvert but if the occasion demands it - public speaking, keeping a conversation flowing, etc. - I often turn into an extrovert. 3. This sleeping thing is a daily/nightly struggle. As for introvert/extrovert, not really applicable categories.

Hello.
Ganes: Elden Ring. I am grinding levels on dark areas of the map. The game let's you run away but also gives you no help whatsoever. It's extremely addictive.
Telly: Severance. It is good so far. Quite Ligotti-ish vibes.
Ottm: I just had a massive bag of Frazzles. What have you ever done?

Tim Hortons. Meh. {Edit}Sorry, that's shitty. I didn't meant to rain on your parade. I found it average tbf.
We're getting a jollibee apparently.
I really want to go in and ask for a big kahuna burger. But I'm sure that's hardly original.

I've never seen Dead Man's Shoes, think I'll tape it. OTTM, Chinese takeaway en route! Just read the blurb, sounds grim. Before that, same channel, is The Equalizer. Great film starring a young Denzel Tuffers. That's me sorted.
