I’m on a train. Apparently it’s just hit two trees. Or maybe the trees hit the train. Might be here for some time.

muffrat your welcome* I don't think I've ever met anyone who has played Majora's Mask before OoT because, you know, spoilers. Re: Ace Attorney, The Trilogy is nowadays available on all platforms. In fact, Capcom recently released two previously Japan exclusive 3DS (linked) games as The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and it's great. Only downside is that there hasn't been a physical release in the West. Both the Trilogy and Chronicles are (digitally) available as a bundle in the Turnabout Collection. Dual Destinies for the 3DS (and phones, I think) also had no physical release in the West, so that's another game that's now being threatened by the looming closure of the eShop. It really is a pity. *I hasten to add that this isn't a typo but a "thing" in the box I played MM because that was one of the four or five games that came with the used N64 I bought in 03 or 04, along with mario 64, goldeneye (which I never really liked, controls didn't seem right even back then), and a couple of sports sims. Never finished it, it was super difficult if I remember. Would probably have stuck with it more, except I was 'loaned' a PS2 a few weeks later by a mate who 'went travelling' to Oz & never came back. I'd almost certainly have come back to it in recent years, but I sold it & goldeneye with boxes and manuals for a pretty penny a few years ago. Have ordered boxed oot for £12 off ebay, super pleased with that. Ill enjoy playing that next time we're off on hols somewhere. The Ace games never seemed like games I'd play on a big screen, which is why I never picked them up on ps/xb/pc. Chuffed to finally have a handheld console again that can run them, I'll pick them up as I see them at the right price (are you getting the impression that m 'careful with money'? Wrong. Just tight.) Incidentally - how long does a full battery charge good last for you on a 2ds/3ds? I've only ever owned them used, but the previous 3ds did well to get 3-4 hours, this old 2ds seems to sound the alarm after 2-3. My DSi used to get 9+ hrs with the wifi switched off. Its all academic for now anyway, no. 2 daughter has taken control of the 2ds and is already 10 hours deep into building 'MoonTopia' in AC New Leaf, the sister dwelling to her gaff in New Horizons. I don't expect to get my hands back on the thing for weeks, but no matter - got a 3 month gamepass code for my birthday so I'm booting up the xbox and opening a bottle of something cheap this afternoon Thanks again tenthenemy

The train we’re in has been ‘substantially damaged’ and is now having to go back to Inverness. Gah. We’re only five miles from Aviemore too.

Best I heard was a train we were on had to go back to the previous stop as a wheel fell off so it couldn't continue on. Public transport eh, if only petrol wasn't hitting two pounds a pop it might become an option.

I've been forced to play Roblox. That was after an hour of dolls. Though I've been making chilli the last 90mins. And not long poured a glass of Malbec. lazybones Maybe it's like the train in the good place and you'll not get very far.

You lucky bastard. I've been forced to play Roblox. That was after an hour of dolls. Though I've been making chilli the last 90mins. And not long poured a glass of Malbec. Ah I don't miss the roblox days. Since she inherited a laptop that's just fast enough to run the Sims 4, she hasn't touched Roblox once I don't think. The downsides to that are twofold: (1) she spends literally all the money we'll let her on expansion packs / stuff for sims 4 (Fucking EA are unreal, if you bought everything for the game it would be north of a grand, all for content that you could argue should have come with the game in the first place. Our neighbour's son has spent £400 since xmas on Ultimate Team packs for FIFA. They've got coercive buying down to an art, I hate 'em) (2) she also doesn't play Minecraft anymore, and I do miss that a bit. Will I ever get that 50 block tall statue of myself finished? Enjoy the Malbec. Pairs perfectly with spicy beans, pour another glass mate

You see, Dr Bones, this is what happens when you muck about with the Dark Arts. Would this have happened to a decent God fearing man? No, I believe it would not.
Time to get The Good Book out and start repenting whilst there is still time (which it sounds like there is).
Your pal,
Tids senior.

We’ve got off at another station, to get a connecting bus. Now in a pub. Some full piping music from a band. Bagpipes of a sort. Good stuff.

How does a train hit not one but two trees, or vice versa? Trees tend to be static and trains generally follow tracks that don’t lead directly into trees.
Bit odd

I asked the driver and she said ‘We’ve just hit two trees’. The conductor said it was one big tree, causing substantial damage. A co-traveller said they felt the collision and saw one tree flying past the train. I think it was one or two trees having fallen on the track.

Back in Aviemore.
What a trip.
Tomorrow we’re going back to London. I’d like to stay here really.
I’d get a job in Inverness. I’d pay my way.

Sir Harold benched for diving.
That’s my take.
If you can’t play properly, don’t play at all.

I’d like to stay here really. I’d get a job in Inverness. I’d pay my way. I'm always suspicious of English people who live in the wilds of Scotland. I wonder what they've done and why they had to move there. Of course I'd make an exception to that rule in your case.
