Why booze is bad.
I had a few* beers and knew that the Pref.Mam. wanted to see the new Top Gun movie, not something that appealed to me but due to the alcohol I bought a couple of tickets, here is my review.
1. This film should only be seen on a big** with loud soundtrack.
2. It is hugely enjoyable
3. If you've seen the original, or any other movie, you can work out all the plot beats and exactly what will happen.
4. The plane sequences are brilliant.
5. It tugs the heartstrings so obviously but so well done one can only applaud.
6. It is clever(ish) about not identifying the country they're attacking, without provocation or legal mandate.
7. It is a film that one shouldn't think too deeply about.
8. I like Tom Cruise, shame they couldn't bring back Kelly McGillis and Meg Ryan but managed some of the boys.

I don't thing Sheguin is the target audience for Top Gun.
Unless they have badly misjudged the room.
He doesn't really like enjoyable films.
Though he does enjoy dislikeable films. Feee him Gaspar Noe and Lars Von Trier and you'll see a soft sympathetic side* to Shengers. If he's drunk he'll watch zombie horror flicks, though I always fear he's siding with the zombies.
