So I have to pay for Nintendo internet to play against people online? What a crock of shit, why do Nintendo and Microsoft (and Sony to a lesser extent) cordon off their own part of the internet and charge access to people who have already bought their product? I can play PUBG on Steam and it does not cost extra, same with any other online PC game. What do Nintendo do that justifies that cost?

I can upgrade to Sony's gold service for £22 for the rest of my sub.
I'm not sure it really offers great value.
What I want is for them to put membership on sale at £40/£80 per year. I can hen combine that with ShopTo funny money and buy a full year premium sub for £70. That's only £20 more than the current price for peasant membership.
So I would effectively be paying them £20 more for the monthly games I don't play. Bargain.

Good morning
Last night I looked at the offerings on the new ps+ premium thingy. Then downloaded the "PS5 version" of Syphon Filter in the hope that one of the egg heads at Sony HQ had made it look and play like a modern game, you know with futuristic stuff like one stick being a camera and the other to move/turn. Alas twas not to be. It did appear to look a tiny bit better than the PS Classic version. So I (Gabe) ran around shooting people for a bit. Then I watched someone else play it on twitch.
