Afternoon all.
Swimming lesson with the boy this morning was much more successful than the two prior lessons. Good lad.
Then straight from there, and go to RHS Wisley to see some friends.
It’s been a looong day.

Neptune's Pride Victory 96: Playing 2 games at once is tough. This one was more regular than the other - I thought that this would start later and that I would be knocked out of the other game early. But, as I keep saying to noobs, if you give up you don't learn and there's always a chance of winning, however small. I'll add the map this time because it shows that I had a central position - winning relied on diplomacy (neutralising some neighbours)... and on being prepared to set the alarm so that I never slept more than an hour at a time. The constant pain means that I never sleep more than a couple of hours anyway, but digging myself out of the deep sleep can be vile. This game was Anderson and my character alias comes from Poul Anderson's Star Fox: "The Star Fox is set during a period of conflict between humanity and an alien race named the Aleriona, specifically, the conflict between the wily Gunnar Heim and his Alerionian adversary, Cynbe ru Taren, the Aleriona "Intellect Master of the Garden of War"! I'm Pink circle ...

PM wanted to watch Eagles on Sky so opted for that for a quiet life. The G write up for Amyl and the sniffers has made me want to look for a replay of their set later though.

I've just picked up a rubber buttplate. According to the blurb, one of the cons is that it 'reduces spread accuracy'.

It's all good. I really like your Phil Fuldner track in the Jukebox, great video. It's like a young Tuffers. Especially the end. Aye it's a belter of a tune. |
