I was in a queue at the supermarket the the other day when my son turned to me and said ‘Marvel characters used to be fun but Disney have turned them into a PC weapon. It’s Cultural Marxism. Walt Disney must be turning in his grave.’ The rest of the queue cheered. He’s two and a half years old…. Didn't they make frozen and Disney on Ice to hide his cryogenics stuff? Also will all films have disclaimers saying that it was a different time etc when they start from now on? |

I saved a bumblebee. Just now. Well, about maybe half an hour ago …
I took some broad bean pods (and onion peel) out to the rotating compost bin. I rotated the bin then heard a high pitched buzzing. I had a closer look and saw what looked like a bee - stuck to the bin - maybe with tree sap or compost unguent. I had a closer look again and could see it was actually poking out of a tiny circular drainage outlet. Like a fat man trying to climb out of a manhole.
I can’t remember ever seeing an insect so upset. I got some kitchen paper and offered it up so it could pull itself out. But that didn’t work. Then I used the torch on my phone to look inside the bin. I could see the other side of the bee and gave it a push with the scrunched up paper. It worked!
It might not sound so much but it was excellent to see that bee flying up into the trees.

It would be excellent if he was encased within a Disney on Ice ice-rink. Even better if one day he were to crack the ice and clamber out. |

Welp. Installed AC's unity and odyssey yesterday. Pissed about on unity for an hour, fun enough. Thought I'd try odyssey for old times sake - and somehow now I'm on chapter 3 and have played it for 15 hours since yesterday lunchtime. I've got it bad for this game, I love it - it was the same on my first play through. Forgot to brush my teeth this morning and almost forgot about wordle.
