We're at a "show" in our holiday village. One of the lassies on stage is phoning it in tbh. She looks slightly unwell. Probably just covid, nothing to worry about. Some wee kid just won £300 at Bingo. I'm sure that's illegal.
Why did I decide to leave the chews at home. Stupid boy. Moretti it is then.
I vividly remember being on stage at one of these places about age 11 during a fancy dress competition and the compere taking the piss a bit and being absolutely raging. Begbie levels of upset. Thankfully I never glassed the cunt.

We only went to Butlin's once; my brother and I loved it - free games, food you could eat without having to smile grimly and pretend it was edible - mainly because it was fast food like burgers, fish fingers, peas and baked beans etc, rather than 'healthy' cremated grey crumbly beef or burnt gammon with vegetables boiled until they were all the same pallid pastel pulp... (my mother was an awful applier of heat to perfectly good veg; funeral director). Cabbage was the worst because the insistence on eating the food whilst hot meant the cabbage water was left to go cold ... |

OTTDM: Went to Butlins once as a child. Free Scalextric, whoo-hoo. Many cars died that day.

Jeebus. I appear to be a decade older than muffrat and Tuffers. *old man shouting at cloud.gif OTTM…. Pup is booked in to have his testicles located, and removed. Pre-op chat with a very verbose Oirish vet has encouraged us to not go down the ‘cone of shame’ route, but instead suggested we put him in baby-gro with a hole cut out for tail. PM is off tomorrow hunting charity shops for suitable garments….. have made a point of stressing she must make sure she asks for one’s with adequate tail-room, just to see the reactions. #NormalForNorfolk. scamander - bad news about pm’s friend, but her attitude does her credit. I’m in awe of folk who can accept their mortality in such a way. |

Neptune's Pride: Hyperium - As Shenguin knows, I put up and started a Quad game (a move every 15m) very early on Monday morning - these games are really brutal*. As my legs require distraction and preclude sleep I have an advantage over most folk. But this game has 3 players (ringed in yellow) who have won more games than me and getting the last 13 stars is still a struggle. (I'm Lolly Gaga; Gaga because these are games that drive you nuts.) *for example 4h = 1 day - go to sleep for 8h, go to work without logging in for 4h you get kicked from the game... And to ensure that you don't get jumped you really need to set a 1h alarm. I'm desperately tired now, but this should finish overnight...
