Hi I woke up early again today, lying on top of the bed. I went and brushed my teeth then took an executive decision to leave the ambient radio station I'd fallen asleep to on, and it sort of worked. I mean in getting back to sleep. The Soma FM Drone ZoneIt's good. It is; Although I can hear that might work from the prevalence of white noise, I prefer to use the music from The Living Planet. In searching for the soundtrack album, I just came across this... I drop you in at the point where Elizabeth (Liz to her friends!) explains her work on the series (I believe she also composed the Doctor Who theme)... I'd imagined she was some bespectacled boffin in a lab coat; not a pretty young woman with luxuriant hair. |

I watched a film last night called 'The Old Ways'.
It was about someone who wakes up and finds themselves with a sack on their head, tied up in a room. Its because they have been possessed by a daemon.
It wasn't a good film. It wasn't a bad film really. It was short enough and ok enough to keep watching.

It was the boy’s first school sports day this morning. He did very well on the relay, and though he was the most careful child with the egg’n’spoon race, I think he dropped it the most.
Highlight for the kids? “Miss! Miss!! There’s a dead bee!!”

I saw Kula Shaker. They were OK. The long journey back now. Was the festival village outdoor food/drink place open? I keep forgetting about that and mean to go sometime when the weather is decent. The place near the Fruit Market venue? (near Efes?). It was busy and had long queues for drinks so we avoided going in, but it certainly seemed popular with the GNR fans. We mostly drank in the Amsterdam bar nearby. |

Brunswick Hotel. Not been in that space in about 15 yrs. Someone I know used to DJ in the basement. |
