The place near the Fruit Market venue? (near Efes?). It was busy and had long queues for drinks so we avoided going in, but it certainly seemed popular with the GNR fans. We mostly drank in the Amsterdam bar nearby. Yeah that was the place. There's a bigger version nearer me on the southside - I've yet to go there either *sob* I had to look up the Amsterdam bar. Brunswick Hotel. Not been in that space in about 15 yrs. Someone I know used to DJ in the basement. The basement had lots of xxxxxs on the entrance so we thought it was some kind of sex thing and avoided it. The Dam Pilsner was OK though. Tenants seemed to everywhere. |

Don't, I've made the cauliflower cheese already, it's great, but I am rubbish at pan frying fish. I can boil potatoes and microwave frozen peas, so no problem there. My latest technique is to drink alcohol and channel my inner Marco Pierre White*, though thinking about it Keith Floyd would be a better role model**. *as a chef, not the other stuff. **MPW was a bit sexy though. |

As much as "Boot the Buffoon" day is funny, a lot of the twaddle from the fellow snakes and pigs is laughable.
Career politicians with their snouts in every trough (ppe anyone? expenses?) are resigning out of supposed integrity. Fuck off. They are all the same, whatever colour tie they wear, all very rich and self promoting psychopaths. The Tory resignees either think it might cost them money through loss of seats, individual money, loss of status/perks or they want the top job themselves.
The Boris supporting MSM have his card marked and they want a new PM. They were still supporting him until a few days ago. What changed? The feely feeler pincher ? He's (the PM) got away with much worse and still been supported. It's all timed. They want a new PM and will get one. Whether today or in a few weeks/months.
Yes, he is an utter lying shit. But none of them are any better in the blue Party. As I think Felice's picture was suggesting.
I'd also suggest Labour want him gone as they think it will increase their chance at a GE, rather than out of any sense of 'good'. But I'm a cynical old git who hates all of them.
