I'll just finish off a level of snipper elite 5 and check back. Suffice to say, Chumbles is closest. 96? 96.

Unfortunately it's a semaphore jobbie to get the hands dry; but thanks MrTiddles: does she say whether it dries quickly? tenthenemy: did you have any success in your search?

I use Aveeno. Fairly quick to dry. Can't say if it meets your requirements though. Helpful as ever.

The internet recommends Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream. Absorbs instantly with a non-greasy feeling so you can get dressed immediately. Suitable for sensitive skin. Tested under dermatological control.
For what it's worth.

I was due to go to the Ealing Beer Festival tomorrow but the friend I was going with has tested positive for the Covid. He was also due to celebrate his birthday with a family gathering on Friday and hosting a retirement BBQ on Saturday. All now off.
Bad timing indeed.

Help! I need a moisturizer that is quick to absorb into the skin, eczema-friendly and non-steroidal*. All the ones that I have tried so far end up with me doing the semaphore dance to get them dry enough to not have me moisturising my pc kit as well. *Bietnovate works, but you mustn't use it for more than 4 weeks, use it sparingly and avoid using it for at least as long as the period you used it. The District Nurses screwed up my care plan in '16 - the nurse i/c left without saying it should follow that pattern and it was 3 months before a horrified replacement was appointed - and my already vulnerable skin thinned out on my feet to a single layer. I have used Betnovate and its siblings dermovate (stronger and eumovate (weaker) for psoriasis. There are a few other medical skin creams as well. Most of them aren't good. Not for a long time though. I didn't fancy the long term thin skin damage. I don't tend to use anything stronger than E45 now. It's not bad enough (mine isn't, other people's often is) to justify the side effects of the creams over a period of decades. I occasionally use a tar based emollient if I need to or a non tar one. They are effective but leave everything greasy.

I just finished reading The Future of Dinosaurs. It lacked Dickie Attenborough and DNA extracted from mosquitoes preserved in resin so i did not find it very realistic. Apart from that it was ok.

I am now watching Resident Evil. The first film. Netflix have let me down. The series is only available from tomorrow.
Apart from not having Milla Jovovich and having a much smaller budget it is how I expect Melvazord's lab is run. Lots of staff turnover.

Games:- there can be only one. I'm absolutely conkers deep in AC Odyssey again - love this game so much. Second playthrough, but with the new telly and on the Xbox series X it's just lush, it's like being on a sexy murdery holiday in the Aegean (again). Installed it 11 days ago and I've already got 32 hours in, character level 48, and just getting to the real meat and potatoes of the plot and I'm having a ball. So much to do. Hope hope hope the forthcoming AC games are any good.
I got AC Unity as part of the same bundle, installed & played it first for a couple of hours hoping it would suck me in like Odyssey but naah. Will probably play it, but it's sliding down the list, and it's a long list
Lunch: sliced chicken salad sandwich on worthy Warburton wholemeal bread, fucking diet food. Dinner: small Aldi medallion steak with confit biyaldi (posh ratatouille) - also diet food but absolutely delicious.

Unfortunately it's a semaphore jobbie to get the hands dry; but thanks MrTiddles : does she say whether it dries quickly? tenthenemy : did you have any success in your search? In my search for the owner of the pod? I must admit that I just took what's mine. I'll check whether it's still there tomorrow. Fortunately (for me) it's blocking the neighbour's driveway and not mine, so if no one has collected it at the end of the day they'll probably complain to the council. These days the refuse collection crews are being forced to work incredibly fast with fewer people, so stuff like that now happens all the time. My recycling bin that had been in pristine condition for the longest time is now sadly beaten up; the paper pod is badly broken from being thrown about in a hurry and some time ago they broke one of the hinges. I'm just happy that my stickers with the house number have resulted in no more bins going AWOL. I think that the regular binknapping was the result of stressed out binmen returning the bins to the disabled neighbour down the road without a care which bins were actually his. Moisturiser: the PM also needed moisturiser, we usually used Allergenics: Skin Body Lotion, it promises a "non-greasy formula" that they were largely sticking to (geddit?)...

Was it a Hulk thing, shoddy workmanship, age? The 'Box* needs to know. *Well I do, maybe not need but...

It was either shoddy workmanship, or my super macho tough guy strength
I'll let you decide which is more likely

The bit that snapped was the internal mechanism that connects the handle to the latch
The actual handle itself is fine, it's just hanging there all limp and pathetic, just like.... Something. I can't seem to think of an analogy

Chumbles can I recommend Weleda Calendula baby body lotion? Because its a baby product it's not cheap, 7 to 8 quid for a 200ml bottle, but when both my girls had eczema as infants it was the only thing they'd tolerate. Mild enough to use on newborns... It's that good we still always have a bottle in, when my psoriasis gets dry in the summer I pile it on, absorbs really quickly, non greasy, and smells like the back of a baby's neck, it's good stuff. Depending how sensitive your skin is I'd also recommend Vaseline intensive Aloe Soothe, which my kids graduated onto when they were out of nappies, and which I still use every day that I come out of the shower. The girls still get eczema and it doesn't trigger them, again it's super quick drying and non greasy, and it's also cheap enough that if you buy a bottle and do a skin patch test and I'd doesn't suit you, you're still only out of pocket by less then two quid

Betnovate is fine. Slather it on several times a day for as long as you want. You skin probably won't go all thin and weird, unless it does.
Chumbs, have you tried just basic plain vaseline? Not many ingredients to become sensitised to, does the job, though a bit greasy and flammable.
Weak lungs and skin disorders in the box. Who would have guessed?
