I was supposed to be going to see Simon from Norwich today - in Norwich. We were going to go to a Belgian restaurant - quaff Belgian beers, eat mussels and chips. Well that was the idea. Sadly I tested positive for COVID-19 again so I spent all morning in bed instead. Wondering if I should play Fortnite. I can’t even go down to the shop to buy Belgian beers. Maybe I don’t need to. Sat in air conditioned comfort in the car on the way to North Wales. The kids are behaving, the sun's shining, the only thing that could improve my mood would be being allowed to change the radio station from Heart 80s, but I'm happy to suck it up this once

Is it not all "guidance" now - i.e. you can do what you fucking want, covid or no covid. Just depends how much of a dick you want to be, or if your employer are c-units.

I'm fooked. Nurse here at 11 went at 1.30; had to do washing which threw more heat in here so ate at 3 and now the temperature is climbing. How I wish I could get shutters fitted.

Just back from a mini-wine festival, £15 = 15 small drinks*, really good. It was all Kent wine producers apart from one French booth, sry amipal the wine was good. Lots and lots of sparkling stuff and a lot of Pinot Noir. Venue was outside and not packed, though if I knew the chatterbox way is to go out an infect other people, I'd have prepared better. Went to pub afterwards and had 5 bottles of Bud. 4* *by my reckoning about 2/3 to 3/4 of a bottle. |

I've tried, but not in time; I am pursuing it. The guy that normally helps with odd jobs is fully committed so I have to research someone else who is trustworthy - they have to have a key to my walled garden. |
