I don't really like calling Conservatives Tories. Because my understanding is that the Conservative Party also incorporated Whigs.
Maybe it is more Toryish than Whiggish these days.
I've no idea.

Hello. I've eaten too much food. It was all lovely though.
We ordered two curries, naan, rice, mixed pakora, poppadoms, spicy onions and a large chicken tikka kebab.
The child didn't like any of it apart from the rice, naan, poppadoms. We had to quickly microwave her an Asda korma.
So the PM and I ate most of it. She's going swimming shortly the mad women. I'm slumped on a chair trying to decide if I can talk the child through making me an espresso.
Perhaps a 15 min shut eye will perk me up.

I once opened a chain email, about 21 years ago. It seemed to have been sent in a spirit of fun. One of the questions in there was what I would ask for if any wish of mine could be granted. I know how these things work. You’ve got to be careful. King Midas wanted everything he touched to turn to gold. He didn’t think it through. So I asked for eternal peace and happiness for the universe. I may have expounded - to the totality of dimensions. Anyway this message ended by saying I had to send it on to a number of other people, matching another answer I’d given (I think it was eight). And if I didn’t then the exact opposite of what I’d asked for would come true. A bit harsh. I didn’t send it on of course. It angered me. Now look what’s happened. Wish Granters tend towards efficiency. The easiest way to achieve universal peace is to kill everyone. |
