Afternoon all!
A traipse around the Tye this morning with the boy. Got him out on his current bike - he’s getting a new one in two weeks’ time for his birthday, so I want to get as much use out of this one before then!
Then after lunch, a visit to a garden centre. This also features a pit stop in the cafe, where I consumed a delicious bowl of chips. 4*
Filmblog: apparently we’re watching The Lost Boys later. I’m terribly excited!

We went for a walk round ‘The Dee’ and visited the lighthouse. I realised that every time I’ve been here in the past I’ve walked anti-clockwise around the lighthouse, when really it would have been more auspicious to go clockwise. So that’s what I did.
We saw some painted pebbles outside a house. A true seaside ‘vibe’. One of them was of a brightly coloured scene featuring King William of Orange, circa 1690.

Just had a chicken & chickpea stew thing. No chorizo as we had bacon at lunchtime. Added some coriander that was in the fridge from last weekend.
Think I got away with it. "Dad, is that parsley?" Tbf there was also parsley in it, innit.
Added a nice undertone to it. Seeing as we're discussing N. Ireland.
Some games in a bit. Think the pm is going swimming so I'll break out botw while the child watches shite TV before bed.

I've saved my game now. Not by choice I might add. The younglings spotted me playing and have commandeered my PS5 and created their own save slot each. Little turds. I endorse Keza's review. 4* |
